The Definitive Peter Quill/Star-Lord Costume Thread

Yea, the pants have 4 fabrics :

Corduroy OR moleskin
Denim
Heavy canvas
Brown leather (holster pads)

And of course from 4" below the knee its all elastic.

I've been following a bunch of threads like these trying to find new details, and I don't think I've seen those square vent-looking pieces before. Anybody have a clear image of them? I'm not very good at 3d modelling but it looks simple enough I might give it a try.
I'm not sure if there's a pic out there but MorbidCharlie is doing a run of them

Here's an image of a test print with a crappy paint job. LOL. Here's the interest thread:

More info on these? Are you going to offer them?

Yeah, I'll offer a small run of these if there is enough interest. I've only molded and cast the right blaster grip so far. The one in the vid is a resin cast, not the original sculpt. They are pretty durable and have a snap-tight fit. No glue necessary! I still need to sculpt the left.

I'll start an interest thread here shortly. ;)

Looks fantastic! I'd be up for a pair if you did a run :)

Need some shoe information, Please.

I am about to purchase some of the Skechers, I know which models.

The question:

The shoe sole comes in two colors from skecher depending on the model of Diameter shoe, black with black "diamonds" along the edge of the sole, and black with grey "diamonds".

Which combo is correct?

Here's what I've been up to lately:

The basic shape of this thing is pretty complicated to model... and adding panel lines is turning out to be a real challenge. There are panel lines that go out the outermost parts of the "wings" and trying to draw those lines into the mesh and have them be somewhat symmetrical all around. Since the only reference available from the front comes by way of concept art and enhanced still frames, I'm having to make a some educated guesses as to exactly how it looks, but I'm doing the front part as a separate piece so that when/if a clear photo of the filming prop surfaces, I can change it.
