The Amazing Spiderman (Reboot) Costumes and Wardrobe

guys am i the only one to feel a littel sad to say goodbye to the old costume, granted i like the new costume but the old one seemed a bit more realistic.

plus as anyone seen pictures of the 'gnarler webshooters'

I think the new suit is a good suit for another reboot. It just feels like someone has said to them 'The Raimi suit Was better' and instead of trying to top the raimi suit, they've just made it almost exactly the same. Like, they should have kept the leg stripe, the blue hands and DEFINITELY kept the sneakers on the sole thingy. I'm just disappointed with it all really, I loved TASM and now it looks like we're going to be going to the cinema to watch hipster punk Peter Parker with a completely different suit!

I'm sorry to rant, but that is how I feel :unsure

Meanwhile in the realm of the strange..

Take a look at the guy's feet, aren't those the same shoes Andrew was spotted in?

Nice find! The look so clunky though...even more so with slim/skinny jeans like Parker's wearing them with! Kind of a weird choice for Peter Parker footwear considering the other shoes we've seen him in (Dunks, Chucks, etc.) At least the Frye's were more of a normal boot look. I figured they were more like a boot/sneaker hybrid like the New Balance H710s and less of a straight up hiking boot. I can't imagine wearing these outside of heavy terrain hiking or snow! Maybe they look different in person though.

With all this talk of Peter's new kicks and those of you mentioning that you liked his old duds better, I thought I'd pass this new find along. Nike Dunk Low Pro SB (thunder blue / cool grey / white).

While granted they're not exact matches to Peter's Dunks (since his are an older NikeiD model with different colorway options than they now offer) they're close enough...honestly they're some of the closest I've seen in a non-custom non-NikeiD Dunk with a few minor differences. For instance, these have blue soles and white outsoles while Pete's have white soles and grey outsoles. These have a light grey toe & side while his have an even lighter grey toe & side. These are suede & leather while his are all leather. But hey, they get the job done!

Hopefully I've been of some help to you guys (I'm TheWaitingRoman's friend)... I wouldn't have even noticed the crew member wearing his shoes if I hadn't had an HQ pic zoomed in trying to identify Shailene's boots! (No luck on those yet.) It was the detail you could see of the sole that helped me identify them as North Face.

I can attest to how comfortable North Face shoes are as I've got Amy Pond's North Face shoes from Series 6 of Doctor Who. They're great, durable, and worth every penny of the retail price. I'd bet these are the same!

I've been trying to identify Peter's red cords as well with no luck on them so far either.

Yeah, me too! With no visible or discerning labels it's going to be pretty difficult to ID those until we get some more pics...it may even still be difficult to ID them after we see the film if there are no telling trademarks (like Peter's black skinny jeans from the first film). However, as I mentioned before, that may be a blessing in disguise for finding screen accurate substitutes since red skinny cords & pants are pretty popular right now and his look pretty simple (no pocket stitching, no special details, etc.)

Here's some good red skinny cords I came across.

More set pics with a new Parker outfit surfaced.

Hard to tell from the photos but it appears that he's wearing the same Save Khaki quilted jacket (though I guess it could just as easily be a button up collared shirt...it just looks a little bulkier than a shirt and appears to have those same silver snap buttons) with slim khaki chinos with the same black hi-top Chucks. Safe bet to assume that he'll wear that jacket throughout the film since we've seen him in it twice now.

There's a few more photos here but they don't really give us any better peeks at the outfit.

"we've seen him in it twice now." did we ? when ? :)
Oh and does some one know something about motorbikes or more which model is "MJs" ?

Hey dudes and dudettes - really excited for this film! My boyfriend and I are already working on Peter and Gwen costumes from this chapter. I stumbled across some new photos for filming at Just Jared Jr. and thought you might want a look! I believe this is a new Peter outfit? I don't think I've seen anything posted about it here! At any rate, some great shots of Emma in what's been identified as a Ted Baker coat. :)

More at the site!

Yeah, that's the same outfit I posted about with the Chinatown photos right above your post. Thanks for the close-up shot though!

Turns out it wasn't the quilted Save Khaki jacket like I assumed and was in fact just a button-up shirt (Charcoal grey in color?) with a black zip-up bomber style raglan sleeved jacket over it, and the black hi-top Chucks. Guess the hunt is officially on to find that jacket now!

You can see in this photo that those slim fit khaki chinos are actually Levi's!

I know those pants well because I actually already own a few pairs myself. They're the 511™ Slim Fit Hybrid Trousers...most chinos that have the side slit front pockets (which you get a get look at in that first photo where he has his hands slouched in his pockets) don't have the 5 pocket jean-style back pockets that we see in the behind shot, hence the "hyrbid." They don't have that color on the Levi's site but they do carry them at Macy's. It's a really light khaki color called "Atomic Grey"

Well, it turns out it wasn't the quilted Save Khaki jacket (more on that above) but had it been, "twice" was referring to once when he was wearing it in the scene with him in front of the car and MJ on the bike and twice would have been this Chinatown scene if that was in fact what he as wearing...which he wasn't!

You've probably already seen this picture, but I'll go ahead and post anyway:

You can see just a peek of a brown label patch on the back beneath his belt, but unfortunately it doesn't really help much, other than ruling out Levis (because the patches on their red cords are black and/or white). So all I have to go by is the stud on the side of the front pockets and the shallow 'v' shape the stitching on the back makes.

The only cords I've been able to find so far that meet all the criteria above are BOSS Barcelona Cords and Vince Stone-Wash Corduroy Pants.

With the talk of the phone case, little trivia fact- the costume designer on this film worked on the costumes for Back to the Future. He very well could be using it in the film ;)

That's rad! So either Parker is a BTTF fan and that's a fun little nod in the film OR that's just Garfield's phone case...which makes him the BTTF fan and an even cooler dude than he already is! It's probably the latter...either way pretty cool.

Thanks for the heads up Nick!

Garfields I imagine no way would Sony have a competitor phone in there film watch all films by Sony they all have Sony phone laptops etc

Btw why do you guys call converse all stars "chucks" is that an American term or is there another brand similar to all star also from the pics I think peters converses ate navy not black I own the black ones and they are alot darker then that
