I just want to point out something I have always noticed about Arnie's ears that not too many people put into their sculpt. The very top of his ears are pointy...... You probably already know this, seeing the amazing sculpt you have.

Hi Mac,
I have about every "arnold" bust that has come on the market & none of them I felt were right.That's why I decided to have a go at doing one myself. If it turns out crap I only have myself to blame:lol I'll be posting some update pics soon. Another reason I'm having a go at this sculpt is rehab for my hand which got seriously damaged in an industrial accident. So please be patient with me as Arnold will take a while as I can only do a little at a time...

YES! Arnold has the most bizarre ears!:lol they are so different. I was sculpting his right eat tonight actually. His right ear is narrower & his left ear is rounder with a little "fleshy" bulge about a third of the way around.This is how I could tell in when I was looking for reference that a photo had been printed back to front.You would be amazed how may pics of him are back to front :confused

His ears are driving me mad!I usually find this the easiest part:eek They look OK from the front but they are STILL not correct.The goog thing about clay/plasticine...You just rip it off & start again & again, & again, till it's how you want it. It amazes me how when I have finished a session sculting I go away feeling good then when I come back to it with "fresh eyes" I go "What was I thinking!" He's getting there slowly...

from what i can see, it looks like the ear lobes are too pronounced. maybe bring them in a few millimeters and see how they look then.
