Terminator Endoskull (New design)

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

Guess it all depends on if he plans on connecting with Cameron if he finds her. :lol

I don't regard the Sarah Connor Chronicles as cannon, so my little story doesn't take it into account.

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

Just to cool. fantastic work and imagination plus skill.any updates on this.....

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

This is some great sculpting!!!!! Well done. Subscribed and buying apoxie sculpt now!

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

See this is why I love finding these new/old threads. You've got a very unique Endo Skull happening there. I like it alot.
many thanks! =)

just got 8lbs of apoxie scuplt in today, this stuff better be good! :lol
haha mate! thats a good amount right there :p
so whats your verdict? did you happen to like it? perhaps love it ;D

well done sir
thanks!

WOW! you must have much patients building with Styrofoam the sculpt work on top of this looks absolutely amazing
it was really fun to work the styro to be honest as i cut cout pieces and panel lines easily :) many thanks! yay

this is awesome, i wish mine turned out this cool :)
thanks dude! but why? how did yours turn out and which materials did you use?
If you use it right, it is. If you use it wrong... well... it still is! :)
INDEED! hahahahahhi totally agree here :p

I'm gonna go ahead and dub this the C-001. As the war wages on, John Connor's injuries begin to mount. Knowing his human body is on the verge of withering away, and no certain end to the war in sight, John Connor assembles a team for a desperate mission - to commandeer an endoskeleton and insert his consciousness into its CPU.
The result is "Connor 1", or C-001.
ah a neat idea good sir :D i was also wondering if i just make up my own SKYNET kind of INDUSTRIES and lable the endo skull as well

Loving your work. Looking forward to seeing the completed project!
many thanks dude!

Just to cool. fantastic work and imagination plus skill.any updates on this.....

This is some great sculpting!!!!! Well done. Subscribed and buying apoxie sculpt now!
many many thanks good sir! i hope you find the epoxie as useful as i do :)

hi guys! no real big update till now. i did sand the whole thing again and also worked some areas that needed cleaning. all the areas that arent covered with either plastic or epoxie sculpt are the ones i still need to design at some point... ahh my brain hurts :D maybe im overcomplicating this whole thing :p
here are 3 shots with primer

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

wow... Good idea starting from the foam head. I am waiting in anticipation for the rest of it.

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

Very inspiring work! As with everyone, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the end result.

Great job!

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

I cant wait to see it all lit up with blinkies and sound!!

I think your CPU idea (as a switch) would be no problem to do....

great work!

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

When you started with the foam head, I was impressed how good it looked. Then you took it to infinity and beyond with the apoxie sculpt and styrene sheets.

Have you given any thought to how the teeth and lower jaw will look?

And... a question about apoxie sculpt: how thick did you apply it? Will it take a second (or even third) layer without the layers delaminating? Or do the additional layers need to be applied before the previous layer cures?

Keep up the good work; I'm amazed every time I visit this thread!

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

Awesome job, this is going to turn out great....cant wait to see more...

Awesome-ness!!! I'm glad to see you're still at it. :)

thanks :D but with the primer on i did notice lots of little imperfections. i started fixin them yesterday . will find some free time to work on that skull starting now :)

I cant wait to see it all lit up with blinkies and sound!!

I think your CPU idea (as a switch) would be no problem to do....

great work!
thanks so much! ah im just doing the lights. no sound as im a bloody amateur and that would be a too deep dive into this i guess :D

hi warpig! thanks for your visit. your words are highly appreciated. work did kill my private life but im back on track
im about to post some photoshop designs i did. i hope that the design ideas will appeal to you :)
also sorry about replying so late. i just couldnt post without showing some progress or pics. thats why i waited so long... shame on me

yeah i applied the epoxie 2mm - 5 mm thick. i honestly didnt think lots when playing areound with it so i in fact did put on "fresh" apoxie over a first layer that sat for one hour, other spots that where 4 hours old. as apoxie doenst shrink when it hardens i see no problem at all. in fact i found out that after 4 hours it has hardened enough for me to handle it without leaving fingerprints and dents everywhere. i did sand some spots after 4 hours already as well as it was easier to sand off the bigger softer dents with 60 grit paper

im happy you dig it dude! thanks =)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
so after a long absence and the funeral of my private life i regained it and i shall get back to my true love whose head i touch the most ---> my endoskull :love:love:love

i did finally get my go for the endobuildersclub so im fully inspired and ready for some next steps HOORAY! (man i talk like a 13yo....geez)

here is some photo shopping i did the last days. one thing for sure: i wont add any teeth. the overall shape of my skull is not "realistic" at all so human teeth did make it look kinda weird and let you notice the unhuman proportions it has way too much.
number 7 being the design i will stick to for now. things of course might change when it comes to practically building/sculpiting the areas. well im excited but also afraid :D as they say: the face is the mirror to the mind. man i just hope it will end up lookind decent:unsure

enough gibberish
here are some photoshop skulls

again, thanks for all the guys having a look and telling your opinion
cheers

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

Looks Amazing !! I have to say i love finish you got.

Really nice sculpt mate.

Re: Endoskull (Custom design)

Looks pretty great, this is actually the first real-world original Endoskull designs I've seen so far. There have been a few digital ones that I've come across, but to see one being sculpted is another thing altogether.

This is also the first time I've seen anyone attempt something this big with Apoxie Sculpt... with all its qualities, it does make sense. Everything except its price,:lol When this thing is done, it's gonna feel pretty heavy. Nice finish so far, can't wait to see it painted!

heey thanks man! appreciated. yeah i was wondering too why no one did sculpt one. even the 3d models i saw till now just featured the usual t-800. you cant possibly link me to the ones you came across perhaps? :D just curious. would sure be a cool inspiration

yeah the price for apoxie sure is something.....
in the beginning i chose apoxie because i bought it some time ago to use it for scale modeling.
and now im just enjoying the fact that i can design shapes and sculpt them on the run and i end up with a rock hard surface i can work with. i can understand that car filler is the major source but only if you really know what you are doing. without a concrete design and plan i would have just ended up with a tumerous chunk made of car filler :D

maybe i will try out clay for the next project. but only if i train myself in mold making and casting to a degree where i could risk damaging my prototype sculpt hehe

it really feels a bit heavy so far and it can only get heavier :D i plan on painting it with alclad chrome since i was told that you can really clear coat it now without loosing much shine. another thing i dream about is making some casts once its finsihed. man it would be uber awesome if i find people interested in the design so much that they would put that prob in their displays :D :D :D

many thanks for your interest and your comment!

cheers
