Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

PASS

Why is Bay even working with Megan Fox anyway?? They fired her from TF3 because of the crap she said.... is their memory really that bad?

There's no way they'll be using that footage in the movie. Those proportions are ridiculous. It's likely just to use for reference when they replace it with a CG turtle in the same clothing.

Even if they replace it, it's likely to be the same scale and ridiculous proportions. Look at the size of the shells on the mocap suits.

At least the van looks inconspicuous :wacko

:lol that's THE van?

wow :facepalm it's like one of those accidents/train wrecks where you just can't look away, because of just how horrific it is :popcorn

So the took the van from the old 80's cartoon and mixed it with the shellraiser from the current cartoon? Yea because that's nothing more then a cheap way to sell a toy later.

Jeeeeeeez, this just keeps getting worse! That "disguise" is absolutely ridiculous, and I agree, Raph's trenchcoat disguise in the original film was way more inconspicuous. This film is looking pretty awful, but it couldn't possibly be as bad as TMNT III, could it?

I was just thinking about this movie (and how awful it will be) and a interesting thought popped in my head. The grey para-military guys haven't been officially confirmed as the Foot have they? What if they are Rock Soldiers under the command of General Traag and Krang? That would explain some of the alien stuff and bring in Dimension X.

Megan Fox.

I think that answers your question.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks she was poorly cast. Call me Old School but I you can dye her hair but she still doesn't look like April to me. I'm not saying this as a fan either because it's been years since I've seen the show or the movies.

Oh you don't really want to know my opinion on Megan Fox. It would violate forum language policies by a long shot.

Can't be any different than what I think of her. I'm not a fan of hers either.

Let me put it in as polite of a way as I can.

1) She used to be reminiscent of Old Hollywood Glamour: the Betty Grables, Greta Garbos, and Vivian Leighs, until her diva attitude came about and she started tattooing herself up like nobody's business. Now, she's just not attractive anymore.

2) Her professionalism is sorely lacking, and she got too big for her britches (so to speak). She was handed the proverbial Golden Ticket... plucked out of obscurity and cast in a multimillion dollar film franchise. She went from being a random person on the street to Hollywood's "It Girl" in no time. Then she got cocky and bit the hand that feeds her. I don't care who you are or what you do, you show up on time and you do your job. What you do NOT do is make Hitler references about the director when the Executive Producer of the film you're in is the most recognizable Jew in the industry. She pretty much shot herself in the foot on that one, and if she wants sympathy, she should look in the dictionary. It's somewhere between **** and syphillis.

Spielberg also has relatives who died in The Holocaust.

You left out the incident with the King of Jordan. When someone has a Banquet in your honor and you don't have the decency to show that tells me everything I need to know about her. Not to mention I don't think she's a great actress, She's not as bad as Brigitte Nielsen in Red Sonja but she'll never be at the same level as Sigourney Weaver or Jody Foster .

Then they still hired her for this.... same director. WTF???

If they wanted a good casting choice they should just have gone with Cassidy Freeman

As I learned way back from the Larry Young incident, there is a difference between making fun of an evil dictator, and making fun of millions of innocent people being murdered at a death camp. While Hitler was responsible for such atrocities, that is not the "end all be all" of why someone would compare another person to Hitler. Even Spielberg himself wasn't above making a Hitler joke in his own movies when he made Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He practically had the man himself autograph Indiana Jones' father's diary, and it was an funny moment! And while I don't think Megan Fox has been the smartest person when it comes to handling her career, I would certainly not argue the Hitler comparisons since Michael Bay does manage to take something big and turn it into a gigantic super power even though he uses means we all loath and despise.
