Just saw that he died September 8th.
Growing up watching the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon since 1987.
Plus, he's also done a ton of other voice work for games and shows.
Seems like a whole lot of famous people all died within the last week.

Pete had a PROLIFIC carreer, especially poignant to me as I am a Disney fan. Some of his roles included:

For those of you who remember the former "If You Had Wings" attraction at World Disney World (where the Buzz Lightyear ride is now located), Pete was the voice of your announcer, as well as the male singing voice in this early demo.

I didn't even realize how much he had done for Disney. Growing up in Orlando, and going there a bunch of times. Now that I think about it, he did have such a perfect voice for it.
I had found this 20k leagues under the sea VR video a few years ago, and watching it again, totally recognize the voice and sounding like Splinter. His part starting at around 4:39.

My parents said, when we went there and I was really young, they saw how everything was fake. Like wooden benches were plastic, and so on.
So we went on this ride, and my Mom years later told me how I said, at least the fish were real. She didn't have the heart to tell me at the time, that they were also in fact fake.
