Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

There will probably be explosions and fast moving cameras in the "PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONES" ad....

When it comes out, I'd feel inclined to go see it because its TMNT, but I know I'd be going in expecting real disappointment. I mean, Megan Fox as April, huh? I still can't believe it. Didn't he fire her because she made some remarks of how he is like Hitler or something? And now shes back in yet another of his movies. Guy probably fancies her or something because I don't understand how she can get cast in such roles that call for real acting, not for some mediocre performance.

Being a huge turtle fan since 1988 I know I'll be let down by the new movie. But I've learned to accept that. This won't be the most awesome turtle movie ever made but what the heck, we had that in 1990 with the first live action movie. Might as well enjoy the show. Because it really is just a comic book made as a tribute to daredevil by some guys in the 80's, right?

That's not fair...he had some good movies back in the 90's (Bad Boys and The Rock to name a few) and the first transformers wasn't really all that horrible. He can make good movies if he wants.
Your idea of good and my idea of good is clearly vastly different. So no, my comment is not unfair in any way shape or form. His past speaks against him and I will not throw money his way, because I find him to be a pointless waste of time. The only director I really consider worse is Uwe Boll.

Michael is not really that great of a director but I thought jonathan liebsman is directing the new tmnt

How did u get a hand on the script to be able to read it? And where are you getting all these confirmations from? I have heard diddly squat about this movie aside from casting (and of course the they're aliens/they're not aliens debacle).

The script was pretty widely available online before Paramount put a clamp on it. If a google search doesn't find you a copy, it will at least point you to full reviews and many more details about it. This is the script full of poor decisions that they took some time off to put a polish on, but based on casting and set images it appears that many of the unfortunate directions have been left intact.

What a... relief? :lol

Ralph in broad daylight doesn't seem fitting, unless through CG he will be in disguise using his trench coat.

Theres no need for CG if they are just walking around. Give it the ironman treatment practical with cg for the trouble areas or extreme stunts. NOthing beats a guy in a suit.

Considering we've seen the other Turtles in chains AND Raph's character, this scene makes sense.

He probably does not care about the secrecy anymore and they'll have that old chestnut of "oh, it's just a costume" coming from April. Maybe that's why she has his Sais. She's tgrying to convince him not to go charging in all guns and calm down.

Anything but a trenchcoat. Please.

I'm telling you. They have nothing but contempt for movie viewers. They figure a flashy ad campaign and the strength of the "TMNT" brand itself will be enough. Put some generically hot mannequin in the film, say "From the Producers of TRANSFORMERS" and you're golden for your opening weekend. As long as dropoff for the 2nd weekend is less than 50%, you make bank. And why? Because you assume that viewers are easily gulled, low-grade morons.

Do you even watch dvd extras? Do you know how much hard work, dedication and creativity goes into a film like this?

Hell, as much as you might hate him, Bay LOVES what he does. He and the director may have made some WEEEEEERRIIIIIRD casting choices here but they're not half-assing anything.
