Daily bump. Will show update tonight on the new fabric we have.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man 2 Brick Pattern - Almost Screen Accurate *price finalized*

So my phone camera sucks but here are two more photos. The screen printing ink we used is a reflective black that, when light reflects it, illuminates the brick pattern.

Here are comparison shots:

Fabric swatches now available for free but only if you are on the interest list.

Will PM everyone momentarily.

Daily bump.

Also, here's a youtube video demonstrating the brick pattern's properties: shiny, reflective, and black-satin like.

Re: Amazing Spider-Man 2 Brick Pattern - Screen Accurate - swatches now available

So my screen printer said that she'd be able to do an entire suit.

screen printed webbing, screen printed chest and back symbols, brick pattern on red fabric as well.

My question is, if I turn this page into a full suit interest page, who would be interested. Of course, the red fabric may be limited to only certain sizes, only because once we create a screen, we can't edit it unless we make an entirely new screen. Which means you may have to use bigger pieces of the blue brick pattern.

This full suit kit would cost less than $1,000 and will at least be in the affordable range.. We will not use urethane webbing.

Note: As we currently do not have an in-house seam stress, we will not be able to put it together for you

Re: TASM2 - Screen Printed Webbing, Spider Symbols, and Brick Pattern

be one hell of a suit love to see it ready to put together still interested

Re: Amazing Spider-Man 2 Brick Pattern - Almost Screen Accurate

You would need like 4 20x30 sheets to make the blue of a suit...that cost more than a suit any of getting it the cost down more ? i would be interested...

Could you get the cost for 4 sheets @ $300?
Thanks,Webslingerf

4 sheets sounds about right to make all the blue pieces. At $225 for 2 sheets ($450 for 4 sheets with discount) that's a bit much. One would still have to get the red sections and then have the piece sewn.

I agree with webslingerf, if you could get the cost to around $300 for 4 sheets, I bet you would have more luck in selling these.

You really shouldn't be bashing peoples pricing. If you don't like it, just move along. Kiyominai looks to have a great suit, and interest. What he/she feels like charging is up to them. Price bashing is not allowed in the forum. GLWS Kiyominai.

Dozer3677 - Read through the thread, Kiyominai asked what ppl thought about the price (see bolded text below). Get all the facts before you go dragging ppls names and comments through the mud! If you dont want to read the entire thread...move along.

Best I could do is sell it for $100 or $115. What does everyone else think? Can anyone confirm needing 4 sheets to complete all the blue patterns?

Re: TASM2 - Screen Printed Webbing, Spider Symbols, and Brick Pattern

i cannot wait to see the finished results of a suit and if it is bad ass i will do my best to sell my other suits to upgrade to youirs...

No need to take it personally. And I did read the entire post. How do you think I multiquoted? Sounds like the "best I can do" quote is after ichidave complained/price bashed. In fact, it is. Doesn't sound like. So yes, again, price bashing is not allowed. I stand by my original quote. Never dragged anyone's name through any mud. Just took some time to make sure some newer members know that price bashing is not allowed. If you do not like a price, again, move along. Never bashed anyones rep, or reported anyone. Just stated for those who may not know, if you don't like a price, move along, start your own thread, make your own product, go somewhere else. Thats all. Kiyominai has a good product. So yeah, read the whole post, not just your own comments. Bold not needed if you do not read it correctly. If you read it, you would see the price bashing began before Kiyominai asked what others thought. And even him asking what do others think can be left to interpretation as he could be asking what do you all think of the price, or do you all think you will need 4 sheets to complete.

Yeah, your name is not in the mud. Just trying to help protect the hard working artists on this site. Snippy comments not needed. And if you are a premium member, you should know above all else that price bashing is not allowed, so not sure why you would allow it, let alone participate.

That is price bashing. If the cost of the suit is that cheap, move along and buy the suit. No need to bash someones price for their work and then say I could get this for that. Go ahead and get it then. That is the definition of price bashing.

Re: TASM2 - Screen Printed Webbing, Spider Symbols, and Brick Pattern

I have been researching to get a screen accurate mask and reading this sounds promising. Would you be able to do just a mask print?

If you think those comments are "price bashing", then you must be very sensitive to that. I dont see it as price bashing at all, especially when Kiyominai openly asked. And I dont think that his response could be "left to interpretation". He clearly asked in reference to his previous statement about getting the cost down. He is obviously open to suggestions, or else he wouldnt have said "Best I could do is sell it for $100 or $115". To me, that means he is willing to flex on the price a bit. He obviously wants to sell this, but he shouldnt take a hit because people dont want to pay for his quality work. All I was doing was offering up my opinion to help him potentially sell more. If Kiyominai had a problem, I'm sure he would have said something. Heck, he even thanked people for their input on the price. Not sure why you feel the need to call people out and promote yourself to the role of "comment police".

I get your point about "price bashing". I really do. But your examples, from this particular thread are weak examples. They are not bashing or negative in any way. Sure, if people dont want to pay for good quality and would rather skip on the quality and have something cheaper...then thats on them. And they shouldnt degrade peoples work. But I dont see that happening in this particular thread. Simply people offering up opinions based on Kiyominai's open question. And again, if Kiyominai had a problem with it, then I'm sure he would, and could, handle it himself.

Thanks for your input guys. Knowing people's budgets will really help.

We can get the cost to about $315. Would that be better? Individual pieces will be $85

Thanks. It's hard finding the right price, I do want to see people create the most accurate suits so it was great knowing what people's budgets are.

thanks man, look forward to it. Hopefully we'll get it in done in November if not at least before Christmas. We're currently working on the pelting layout. We have to make sure the webs line up when you sew it together.

Sounds dope :)

thanks! I hope you receive your sample soon. It's printed on fabric lining just because it's cheaper to print on it for swatches. The quality still keeps

Yeah definitely. We'll give you the option to have webs on it or not.
