I've received a sample of the printed fabric to examine, and I must say, I'm impressed. The sheen of the satin black ink is very close to the surface of the screen-used suit I was able to inspect.
Here are a few snapshots of the fabric sample.
This sunlight one I think shows off the way the sheen of the fabric shifts in direct light vs in shadow.
This indoor shot shows the fabric sample stretched across my back, which took no small amount of contortion with my camera phone outstrectched! :lol
Sorry for the blurriness.
All in all, I'd say this is extremely promising. I'd like to see of the ink works this well on synthetic blend fabrics.

Anybody know where I can get a well priced full-body mannequin? Otherwise, we'll just have to make our own using pillow fluffs and masking tape.

Sorry for the late update: I got no photos atm but it seems like we're making progress on the red fabric as well as the screen printed spider symbol for the back
1)Found a good red fabric that we can print the brick patterns onto.
2) At the moment, we're almost a go on creating a screen printed back spider symbol onto the blue fabric so you should see something soon within the next couple of weeks.
3) For the screen printed webs, we are having a difficult time trying to resize some things but hopefully we'll get something to you by the end of the year.
Our screen printer decided that she will not be able to print onto nylon unless the fabric contains a less than 10 % nylon blend. It sort of messed up her room.

So good news and bad news.
Bad news: It's going to cost a lot to create the screen printed web for all body sizes and types, at least for the screen printed red fabrics with webs so currently we are trying to find a solution to that. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Good news: we're getting good results on the raised spider symbol for the back.

Update: So we're still running into ways to screen print the webs but we're now purchasing some specialty ink from outsources.
As for the fabric, we decided to just commission a specially made one that's hopefully accurate.

Also, small update. I got myself (thanks to my sources) screen used fabric dyed into a cool cardinal red color. I do not have any high quality photos at the moment but here it is under different lights
The first photo is the fabric before it was dyed (which is a two-way stretch, heavy spandex (feels heavy like neoprene) with nylon weaves that allow it to shine, but at the same time, I can screen print onto it.
The second photo is under dim lighting, you can still see how dark the fabric can be.
The third photo is under yellow lighting, you can see that the fabric absorbs some of the color yellow and makes it appear more orange.
The fourth photo is under white light, which makes it appear a lighter cooler red (that pink effect that Zach Luna mentioned before)
I hope to get a better camera to take photos of the fabric to capture the colors to reflect an in-person view. Right now, I've been using a Samsung Galaxy S4.

I was going to screen print the red brick using transparent red ink. I believe the red brick pattern was screen printed similarly to the black ink. I will double check with someone who has seen the suit in person as I actually can't recall either.

The red bricks don't sit on top of the fabric like normal screen printing does. The colors are soaked into the fabric, much more similarly to dye sublimation.

I just talked to a few other people who've seen the suit, and they said that the printing actually does sit on top the red fabric, similar to the ink on the blue fabric. According to Zach Luna, there were some wear and tear on the fabric.
