Supernatural Props.What Ya Got... 4 Years 2010-2014

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Well, in my search for Sam's flask I found a store that sells Bobby's flask for $50. Celtic Flasks

That page hasn't been updated since 2010. It's listed a few places but it's actually discontinued. They have to be special ordered if still possible.

I went through about 10 sites before I found someone that told me they could still be ordered direct from the manufacturer.

The actual company that makes them is English Pewter Co. in Sheffield, England. I'd say Sam's is from the same mob, and also discontinued. There's actually about half a dozen versions on the show, all seem to be from the same company.

The company does personalised/custom work. Even though it's discontinued, if they still have the pattern/design on file, they can make it up. Maybe email them with a clearer image and see if they can help.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Bummer. Looking at their engraved designs, I kinda doubt they did Sam's (which is raised, not engraved) but I'll consider contacting them anyway. Thanks!

I'm working on my black cat bones this weekend for my crossroads box, not the right box for now but a cigar box nonetheless. Should look goo next to my Hex Box with the Tiamat Wishing well coins.

If anyone locates Sam's and is going to have them made....please do a interest/sale thread. I'd love to buy one.:thumbsup

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

NICE! Great replica....which episode is that from and any plnas for selling them in the future?

It's from Hollywood Babylon which is in Season 2.
I re-created the logo in Adobe Illustrator and then just purchased the shirt through Zazzle, as I don't really have any screen printing materials available to me. So I don't really have any plans to sell them in the future. But the logo's not that hard to re-create, since the "trailer" for it is in the episode and shows the logo quite large. So just find a similar enough font, alter as needed to fit the logo, make sure the colors match the t-shirt rather than the trailer, and voila.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

To be honest, I want the "I wuv hugz" one from the episode where they went to heaven lol. I bet the Eye of the Tiger one is an off the shelf if you looked hard enough, haven't looked just guessing as it's a popular song.

I'd say you're right. It's cost an arm and a leg for the show to properly license making their own shirt, and they wouldn't have just made one and used without doing so.

I'm sure you'll find it some obscure shirt from the 80's the costume department found somewhere (like half the other props on the show). Also possible a Canadian specific shirt (Canadian tour etc). As with most rock bands from this era, they had 100's of styles of shirts for sale all over the place - some legit, some not so much.

Best bet would be to find a Survivor fan club/forum, and see if someone has one they're willing to part with.
