Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Ready to be filled with IDs. Needs some "TLC" with a little sandpaper first.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

This isnt technically a prop but I figured you guys might appreciate what I found today. This book may be the source of where they came up with some ideas for Supernatural and two names in particular, Alastair and Crowley. The book has tons of stuff ranging from rituals to angels and some Latin thats sounds like something the boys or bobby would say to a demon.

I was reading about men of letters now, and found this.

"The order's symbol is known as a Unicursal Hexigram and is the symbol of Thelema, an occultic school founded by the magician Aleister Crowley."

Not sure of the pictured episode, but I do know there are some decent close ups of Dean's gun in the episode where they introduce Adam.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Does anyone have one of the solid resin Colt replicas that are on ebay? I bid on one last night on a whim and ended up winning it.

Warped, garbage cast with insanely inaccurate details from a known recaster. Ain't nobody got time for that. I saw it on the Bay, discovered it was a "Coolmodels" joint, and effed right off.

He sells these for $40.00, but they climb really high in auctions and he makes a killing. Hope you didn't get shafted. Before I knew what I was doing (I still don't know what I'm doing - but before I found this place), I got burned by that dude on one of his horrid Firefly kits. The good people here turned me around, set me right, and found me what I needed.

I feel like what I'm going to need now is a training montage before I hunt and pummel the guy. The moment I see he's copied Ozy's Colt, he will be fought...

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Thank you for the very nice compliment, but I could not make any of the props accurately without the VERY generous help of kind people from this board, yourself included :D. So the compliment should be shared by all.

True, the resources, references, and assistance within this forum is out of this world.. but still your eye for detail on those paper props are incredible! Bravo :D

This ^^
This right here is why I am sooooooooo x100000000 thankful I found y'all and therpf. I tried doing research on SPN props and found myself in a whirlwind of trickery.. and then I finally stumbled upon all y'all. Everyone is out of my league in skill and talent.. and damn near everything is out of my price range but at least I know I'm conversing with top notch people who make quality stuff.
anyway. yeah. that's my 2 pennies :D

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

So is yours and your friend's completly identical? (Which would make it machine engraved) Or is it very similar but slightly different (hand engraved)?
Would love more pictures - I am going to attempt to do it myself soon :D
