Good for you. I've never met either of you. I can only base my opinions on the posts here and e-mails I've received. Rick was always a complete dick to me in correspondence and to all of you on here with his smug attitude.
I believe you meant "holier than thou" but, either way, I was defending myself, not saying I was better than anyone.
I am happy and grateful. I've gotten plenty of fantastic info off of this forum. I've been here for years and contributed quite a bit myself. Most of what I see and do for people is off of this forum, IN REAL LIFE. What have you done?
How are pictures taken of the actual props sitting in the warehouse "wrong". Every weapon in those pictures matches up to the ones on-screen. No, the captions and writing isn't perfect. I know people who write licensed books like this and they're paid crap. The writers work separately from the people who provide the photos. They don't always match up perfectly.
"Boughten"? How about "boughtening" yourself some English grammar classes? Let's see. I sold you a replica Dean 1911, which you were satisfied with as a non-functioning airsoft replica, handpainted dummy prop to add to your trunk. Not perfect, but you were satisfied. I also sold you a flask, which I NEVER claimed to be a screen accurate flask. In fact, it was your wife who I mostly corresponded with and she asked ME to purchase one after seeing the pictures I had posted.
As for the Esso can, which is another debate I am entirely sick of, it WAS a 99% accurate can. The only difference was the paint scheme using silver instead of white. I thought you'd wanted it because, at the time, it'd be better than NOTHING. I see you have one now. Congratulations. I have had one all this time. I didn't post pictures because Rick insisted it was the wrong one without every having even SEEN it and I felt no need to prove anything to him.
If anyone wants to see pics of it or anything else in my collection, PM me.
If you wanna think that, fine. I really don't care about your relationship with him. I have only spoken of MY opinion of him based on MY experiences. No, he doesn't have to share anything. He just doesn't have to be a DICK about it.

Hey, remember when this thread was about props? Me too Went back to work on IDs yesterday, got about 4 1/2 new sets. The Homeland Security IDs are "half" done as you can see. Once I can make out the text they'll be golden. The quality of them printed from my home printer onto cardstock is kinda fuzzy, but good enough for now. Going to get some of those self laminating sheets when I get a chance.

Thanks. Those are all scratch built in Illustrator. The only things I didn't make are the head shots. The hardest thing is making out some of the text on various IDs. I refuse to put in a filler text, so everything on the IDs is completely accurate (again, except the head shots).
You should throw up a pic of the sets you've done. I'd love to check them out.
