I already have them made and they are 4.3125 x 2.5 to fit in my show correct wallet. Hope that helps.

Look what I scored today, brand new 45 bucks, not too bad considering it is a discontinued model. Anyone know of any other pocket knives dean had?

Aside from a few cheap folders in the very early episodes of S1, Dean has used the Storm right from the beginning. Nice job on tracking one down.

This actually isn't completely correct. Dean's season 1 knife is a Storm 1. You can see the design differences when you slow down the scene of him flicking it out to untie John. Also, production shots of the screen-used Storm 2 (and various scenes from other episodes, I.e. Dean's reloading scene at the beginning of S6 - Mommy Dearest) in the new essential guide shows the non-serrated blade as well.

actually recheck it...cause on the blue ray on a 60" screen when hes cutting the rope....you see the backside of the blade, if you look closelt you can see that the edge of the blade has the serrations, the main one is serrated...trust me on this....I got a pic of Dean's personal stuff from a inside scoop. :love Although I'm sure the non-serrated pops up now and again.

Regardless of the season 1 knife, he uses the non-serrated quite a bit. As for the staghorn, it was in John's trunk first AND Sam used in season 8. They share plenty of gear. It was put with Sam's gear to balance the pics out aesthetically.

My point of view, is that as they have boxes of weapons, flasks, lighters etc, is that they probably have more than one type of things.

So glad you have a large television, care to take a cell phone pic of the shot? Because that would be more helpful than just flat out saying I'm wrong. Not that I'm saying your wrong, of course, I'm just trying to help verify things.

I looked all over the internet for the shot of the knife in Mommy Dearest, but I guess I'll have to take a photo right off the dvd.

As far as the book being wrong, well yeah, it's not perfect, but it's also been the nicest resource for those of us either new to the series, or not having an inside scoop.

Much like some of Dean's clothes, I wouldnt be surprised if he had both versions of the Storm II, serrated and non-serrated.

Def agree on the book, just checked and season 1-2 on blu ray are still out on loan, but I also have them on dvd...resolution sucks but I posted a VERY crappy pic. The problem is, is that what youre seeing on screen is the backside of the blade.Dean would have to be on the other side of the bed for the other side to be shwoing...the part that normally would be seen. You can look at that dark area along the edge and see that its wavy. If you frame advance it, you can see the serrations better. I think it's pretty cool how they RECYCLE weapons, if you look at screengrabs, weapons belong to this guy...then this one,etc...theyre basically filler cause no one but us crazy people here on the RPF would ever slow them down and look.

yes, I think Dean even used Sam's Kershaw speedbump in one episode...remember seeing a bloody pile of goo on the floor and him poking that knife thru it...cant remember the episode...WAY TOO MANY SEASON AND EPISODES to remember...lol:behave

Not sure if you were refuting it, but the beginning of Mommy Dearest, you can see it's serrated.
