One day I hope to be able to get an Impala to restore. That's looking beautiful!

For now, I'm working on the small stuff. Came home from vacation to this waiting for me:

It's not perfect, but it gives me something to build a handle for for now, until I can afford a better one.

Unfortunately these are not my handy work. I do still plan on doing my own Ruby knife eventually, but it's going to take a fair amount of cash investment to get the right tools to work with the metal to do it right. So I picked this blade up from eBay since I have all of the supplies on hand to sculpt the handle already available.

So I'm going to work on that while I ponder my next steps on my angel blade project. I've got the angel blade handle to where I'm insanely happy with it, but I haven't been happy with any of my blade attempts, so I'm taking a short break from that so I don't get too frustrated with it.

And I hadn't actually ever planned on working on an amulet, and this one was just tossed in with the blade that I'd ordered, so it was a happy surprise.

I plan on doing a purgatory blade at some point. But it's going to come after me finishing up my angel blades (both versions) and the handle for my Ruby knife blade. Plus I start training on Monday for my next race, so I probably wouldn't even start on the Purgatory blade until sometime in the second quarter.

Nothing much new to report for me. Got my damascus angel blade in, and it's shiny and awesome and weirdly enough, lighter than the brass one. I thought it'd be the other way around.

Tweaking the angel blade design though. I'm loving this season mainly for the amazing amount of times they use the blade. It's like research heaven (pardon the pun :lol )

Also, teaser for a new project idea

Prints should be coming in probably in a week or two.

Only a week till the new episode!!!!!!

Nah, not a keychain.

Has a separate primer so the print costs are a lot less. It'd be pretty easy to alter it to a keychain though...

Very nice looking Wilson's jacket BT! I'm still hunting down a medium sized hero jacket for myself and the prospects are looking good. Although, I'm not too keen on getting my hopes up too prematurely. I've had a lot of let downs along the way, so I'm playing this pretty close to the chest. I can say it will certainly be a very special jacket indeed.

Unfortunately I just couldn't pull the trigger on that jacket, as I was waiting on this bad boy to arrive in the mail...

Anyone know where a fella can get his hands on a silver/chrome/alum .308 bullet key chain that is even remotely accurate to Dean's these days? Been trolling ebay and etsy with little luck. If they are out there, maybe my word search choices are off?
