Supernatural Props.What Ya Got... 4 Years 2010-2014

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Well, they say the black/white beads are ox bone and the brown are wood. You can try a google search with those terms. Or ask one of them where they get their beads.

It's also worth checking Etsy itself under the supplies category. It's a great resource for craft supplies. Many of the things that show up on Etsy are made with materials sold on Etsy.

I hadn't thought of that. Good call :thumbsup

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

I know they were made of made of but I thought there might be someone on here with the info to pass along on a supplier and info on sizes, etc. I thought of asking where they got their supplies but I didnt want to out of respect, ya know they are selling them to make some money. Didnt want to come across as someone trying to encroach on their business. Just thought asking on here would be the easiest way to get accurate info.

Someone here might know if they've been ID'd, I don't.

But, if you do end up having to ask one of the sellers (if they've found the correct beads) for information, you can always ask the seller to sell you a set number of their beads just for your personal use, if they're not willing to give you their supplier info. I don't think they'd take offence if you said that you wanted to make some for friends, either cause you wanted them to be personal or you didn't want to have to buy more beads than you needed.
Since you wouldn't have the supplier info, they wouldn't have to worry about you being a competitor. I've gotten materials this way in the past.

You'd probably have to pay more than if you got them straight from the supplier, but I guess that's a finders' fee.

How about where the props people actually bought theirs.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Just curious, anyone know what kind of whiskey or alcohol that Bobby would have had in his flask? I have a couple bottles of Glenmorangie but not sure if that's Bobby's brand or not. I suspect it was anything in a bottle. I know one one episode Bobby mentioned Craig, but that was in reference to Crowley liking that as a true Scotch. I think I'll make mine accurate as possible. :D

Bobby gets associated ALOT with the Johnny Walker Blue, but that's actually Rufus whiskey of choice. I remember Bobby saying OLD ROCK GUT....which would be a VERY bottom of the pole whiskey...so I figured Old Crow or something like that...DEF NOT THE GOOD STUFF..lol Remeber when Dean sniffed it, he was like SOB type of reaction to it...lol

I was hoping Rufus might have mentioned what Bobby drinks in that episode so I checked the transcript, but he doesn't, sadly.

RUFUS
You know, I don't even bother drinking unless it's this stuff. Nectar of the Gods, I'm telling you.

DEAN
Yeah, it's a nice change, you know. Most of my whiskey comes from a plastic jug.

I guess this could imply that Bobby's whiskey is also very cheap, but I don't know if Dean ever drinks his. There's the fact that the town considers him the town drunk though, in the dead-people-back-to-life episode.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Bobby's whiskey of choice is a made up brand called Gilbert Hadrian Black, Blended Scotch Whiskey.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

You are freaking awesome kysupernatural! You wouldnt happen to know which ones were used? I could eyeball it from the pictures but if you or anyone else knows it would help greatly =]

That however.............................I dont know.:$ sorry. Maybe someone who knows will chime in.

Re: Supernatural Props.What Ya Got...

Just letting everyone know that my Gap Commander Slub jacket has been SOLD. Thanks to everyone who messaged me about it.

I also might be selling my leather jacket that Dean wore in 'What Is and What Should Never Be'. It's already offered to someone but if they pass then it'll be going up for sale.
