Just finished the tests with the Alclad, and while the results were good, they weren't great.
Looks pretty good in pics but they just don't stand up to close up inspection.
I think the Alclad works great for small scale stuff, but just doesn't translate well to full sized props. The chrome isn't bright enough, and to add enough color density you have to add so much silver that it dulls out the reflectivity.
Time to give Cosmic Chrome a call tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with them I should know about?

It's the real deal... Other than the fact it shoots airsoft! lol I don't think the police would take kindly to me having a real sawed of shotgun in the trunk of my Impala! lol It's real metal and wood, so it looks and feels like the real thing, but doesn't come with all the legal issues... :love
This was one of the harder to find guns because they discontinued this airsoft model, and I was only able to buy it directly from a small air soft retailer in China.

Here's a pic of my 'Dean' GAP military jacket as seen in the show, and as you will see, I'm also wearing the amazing amulet, courtesy of Oz!!
. I searched for what seems forever to find one of these GAP jackets....
As you will notice, I still have the original epaulettes on mine as I haven't had the courage to remove them yet! :lol

Looks good Chris, let me tell you..IF you don't have ALOT of patience and any experience with a seam rpper...have it altered PROFESSIONALY...THe stitching is so thick where the material is doubled..trust me a real pain in the but...and with one slip...you just cut the material on your jacket. The first one I had, I did that...luckily I came across another and am now VERY happy with the results of it. Good luck. :thumbsup

I sent them my doodles the same time I sent the knife maker my doodles for the angel blades.
Guess what can (most likely) be made in crystal? :angel
