Supernatural: How do Sam & Dean make a Living?

I'm a regular watcher of the series Supernatural but I can't figure out how do Sam & Dean make a Living fighting Evil on the Road during their Travels?

Are they using Fake Credit Cards, are they creating Fake identities and setting up Credit Card accounts with the Fake names?

Did their Father set up an account that they withdraw from...?

I've only seen one or two episodes where someone gave them Cash as a "Thank you" for saving everyones Lives...

I'm interested in anyones theories or thoughts...

Probably loot the bodies of demons they kill and take their jewelry, cash, etc.

It came up a few times over the years on the show especially the first couple of years, always the same way - credit fraud. They have a ton of credit cards under fake (usually rockers) names.:thumbsup

For sure MAJOR credit card fraud, hussle pool, I'm sure they do go thru the demons and other things they kill for $$$ in their pockets.

The guy who writes their lives in those books probly gives em money as a payoff for makin em do wat they do, he said he wouldnt stop writing those books in one episode but not sure if he paid em off for it or not

Thanks, I always wondered...For all the good they do I guess the Fraud is forgivable! As long as they don't steal my Identity & Mess up my Credit!!!

They have made it a point to show they are using fake names to get cards so they are not stealing from people, just from credit card companies - stickin' it to The Man!!

They have never showed them taking anything from a job, or going through a demon's pockets after they kill it:rolleyes

Good news is that since it is a TV show it is not a big factor - much like why people almost never need to use the restroom.:thumbsup
