Re: STUDIO SCALE TIE FIGHTER **UPDATED PICS**

(303) 817 9339 call any time. returning emails tonight. TIE Standard update. The wing was being clayed and I popped one of the H beams off and had to do some surgery. All is back and looking straight will begin claying Thursday and look to start pouring the kits this weeke end. I want to fufill all back orders this weekend on the TIE standard. Should be able to do that. I have a surplus of hulls now to cover the Standard orders and Interceptors that are gonna be ran the following week.

Has anyone had trouble with the USPS online account service? You know where U pack it, weigh it and then print a shipping label? I used a credit card on three packages that they picked up, now they are saying payment was never charged but yet the credit card says it was? Any help? Sent the USPS a copy of the invoice and they said it didnt matter their records show it didnt go through but yet it was added to my CC balance.. absolute nightmare...

Everything else is still progressing. Guys seriously call me if you need to talk.. I'll answer (if not on a call) I can see daylight at the end of the tunnel! I hope its not a train comming my way!

I use USPS online all the time - a dozen packages a week sometimes. Never had one problem, especially like you describe. I love the online system too - saves time, especially when I send stuff to Japan (which is often!). I send model kits to Italy (which is notoriously flaky with packages), Germany, Spain, Canada, and Australia mostly. I require the buyer to pay for priority or EMS shipping. It's way more expensive, but it gets there within a week and is traceable. Man, you have had some bad luck with shipping-related hiccups - even in your new area post-move! I can maybe see it being a bad luck of the draw with a regional branch (there's a particular post office in Baltimore that I avoid like the plague - the staff are morons!)... but you're in a new area now, right? I hope you get better luck.

Do you get/provide tracking numbers? If not, do that from now on, with every single thing you send - that way, USPS is more accountable. Right now, it's "you said/they said" and it gets you nowhere when you need to prove shipment.

Steve~!

I sent PM you 3 weeks ago...Please see the PM!!!

I wonder if you can finish Tie interceptor on my order???
If the kit is coming soon, I will keep my order :)

thanks Eric.

What also strikes me as odd - I can't print the postage label at all until my charge goes through (I use either Paypal from my balance, or my debit/atm visa card). So if you were able to label the boxes, and they came to pick it up, you should have no problem convincing them that shipping was paid for. How can they dispute it if you were able to ship them/get the boxes picked up? Try that approach! Good luck!

Re: STUDIO SCALE TIE FIGHTER **UPDATED PICS**

Jason, thats what I'm saying! It allowed me print the shipping lables and everything. I paid it! Got proof i paid it. Heck i even added $25 to the order to get a holiday delivery. I get a email after the boxes are picked up saying postage due! Ive sent countless... trust me countless these past couple months and no problem, so I can see how well it works. I do get tracking info on all shippments sent through the USPS web cant afford not to. I went ahead and paid it again so I can get the account unlocked but man.. $200 bones is $200 bones.

Eric, PM and Email sent.

Ouch! that sux Steve. Sorry to hear that USPS is screwing around now. This sort of crap I'd expect from UPS or Fedex, but not USPS. I'll tell you another thing with USPS, their insurance is practically worthless too. They make you provide your purchase receipts for whatever you are shipping if you ever want your money back. If it's something hand made..........you're just out of luck as there is no way to provide a receipt for something you made. That is a rip off. Then assuming it all goes correctly, it may be a year before your refund arrives. There is absolutely no excuse for that.

This sounds promising Steve. :) I shall look forward to getting some TIE's in the post...providing the weird confusion you've mentioned with the post service gets sorted?

Regards
Nick

Re: STUDIO SCALE TIE FIGHTER **UPDATED PICS**

Waiting and watching here as a hopeful future customer. I desperately want a Tie Interceptor kit, is the plan still to catch up on old orders then begin selling these on a first come first serve basis through the JY or some other method?

I haven't been sending E-Mails or pestering because I saw several posts mentioning some new way these kits were going to be offered. Any guidance? :confused
