Just finished watching the video took me forever with my slow connection speed. Steve you are no joke you already have part of it mounted and it looks awesome. If I miss a day or two of watching your videos I may comeback to find that you have lights in it and finished painting it Lol.

Steve, great videos.
You know Steve I have to say what many probably feel also. I would just like to say thanks for your sharing of your knowledge of this wonderful hobby that I have loved since being a child and building my first kit with my Dad in 70 or 71 it was maybe a 1/72nd scale Chinese Mig Fighter that you could buy back then for a dollar or dollar fifty. There are no schools for this or text books. If it wasn't for guys like you this would be a lost art which many other builders don't like sharing their building techniques or give advice, so I have to say you taking the time to answer questions and show us your videos in a hot garage is so much appreciated that I feel choked up, I'm an emotinal Lug Lol, So thanks for all that you have shared with us.

No that's not a phaser hit but the fiber glass cloth and epoxy that holds the substructure very securely to the plywood.. That wasn't shown in the last video but as soon as I remove the engineer hull I will show it up close for those of you building this model.

What is the set-up time of the the alumilite you are using? I noticed that you hollow casted the front part of the bussard that the dome goes on and the end caps. I am trying to decide if I should do that for my 1/350th parts. I know it will save on resin, just wanted to know the pot life of the resin you used. Thanks.

Depending on the heat Scott. But at 72 degrees about 3 minutes or a little less. With the white.

I noticed on your CGI Enterprise you had the impulse engines lit; are you planning on doing that on the model or are you going to build it like the original miniature? Also, what thickness of plywood are you using for the sub-structure?

I'm really looking forward to seeing how you do the bussard lighting. Will you be using christmas tree bulbs and mirror shards like the original?

Thanks Steve. That is the same pot life of the Smooth-on 300 I have been using. I am going to do some test pulls and see how it looks.
