Everything looks great. No need to count the rivets. It is time to build this baby.

My exact feelings, I don't think there is no reason to send Steve photos or keep saying I think thats high or I think thats low there was no problem with it until one person thought there was and then the flood gates opened, I think Steve knows what he's doing. I wish I had 1% of his knowledge, I'm a hubcab trying to be like Steve, a Bigwheel :cool.

Agreed and my apologies Steve. I certainly didn't mean to set off a firestorm over the nacelle alignment. I totally respect your abilities to the nth degree. As i said earlier, she looks marvelous.

And I too have an apology because I too added to the fire. Did not mean to cause any kind of a flame war. Trekriffic. You are a Terrific member here and I think you are a very positive addition to this community. I did not mean to stomp on your toes.

I love you all.

Steve keep on going with this model. It is wonderful and I AM enjoying seeing this thing coming together. :love:love:love

I'm sorry but a discussion is NOT a "flame war." I'm sure if there was a problem Steve would have been happy about the discussion. I know if I were building it and someone thought there might be a problem I certainly would want them to say so I could check it out. Let me repeat; a discussion is NOT a "flame war"

Now, looking forward to the next video!

Steve just like to say thanks on the baby powder tip it really made a huge difference in the bubble trapping castings (y)thumbsup two thumbs up like Siskel and Ebert Lol.

Noted. "Flame war" was an inaccurate term on my part. My apologies to the forum membership. I seem to be ticking people off no matter what I post so perhaps a short hiatus from any comments on this forum is warranted. Steve, please continue with your excellent build. I'm sorry to have caused any distractions.

Oh good grief trekriffic, no need to bugger out. It's just a misunderstanding, and a small one at that. If you ever think you see a problem in one of my builds, please point it out to me :)

You were missed!!!! lol.

No harm; no foul.

And I also agree with Ray; the baby power working great giving perfect casts.

Hey Trekriffic it wouldn't be the same without you we are sort of a odd family here, how long did you banish yourself for 30-40 minutes? Lol just busting your chops :) baby powder is my new best friend.
Ray

Yes. 30-40 minutes of absolute boredom LOL.
Seriously though I am honored to be a member of the RPF. There's so much talent here it's fricking scary sometimes.
I mean, who knew baby powder had so many wondrous uses? Steve Neill is who!

I just spent two days making over 100 parts. Some had to be remade as you get rejects.

One thing I hate about urethane resins is they all warp if not careful. I've been pretty careful but if you guys find a warped part a heat gun or in the over will put it back.

All clear parts are done. I have two hulls kits. One mine and one John's.

The next two days I'll be glassing Kahn's hull parts. I have all your resin parts. Spend the weekend cleaning up both kits and I should ship middle of next week if not sooner. Sorry for the wait guys but I want these to be right for you. Plus I have to make a CD with images and plan drawings on parts placement.

A lot more work than I had thought. These kits are costing about 450.00 in materials alone.

Steve

I've been using powder for casting for over a decade... another tid-bit about using it other than keeping bubbles down is it's also a terrific release agent for the rubber.

Just FYI ;-)

Tracy

Thanks Rob. Thanks Steve.
My short hiatus is over. I feel so... refreshed! :)

I am glad that you do. In some way I feel like I started something here that I really should not have. For which I offer my apologies and I take full responsibility for it. :cry

I love you all and I don't want any more feelings to be hurt :love unless you murdered some one out of cold blood. :darnkids But knowing you good people. You won't do such a thing. You have proven to have better things to do. :cool

Live long! And prosper!

Steve. You are doing a wonderful work. Hope to see it finished.

You and Trekriffic should have been in one of these.

For your chair that you are building. Here is something that I seen that hopefully has the most accurate lay out of the controls on your chair. Given the Mirror Universe does not differ from the Primal universe.
