Outstanding. :thumbsup :thumbsup

Cheers.

PS. The Imperial-issue sheers add an especially nice touch of authenticity. ;)

Fantastic work Paul. :thumbsup

My only criticism is that there aren't enough scuff marks, cracks or pieces of gaffer tape for it to be a true replica of ANH Stormtrooper armour. :love

Cheers,
John

Thanks everyone :thumbsup

I have put quite a bit of weathering on the armour, but it isn't showing up in the pics.I'll have to make it darker I guess.I really love the scratched up,rough'n'ready look of the ANH troopers, better than any shiny new stuff any day :p I'll be adding some gaffer tape to as well as the 02 canister which I accidently missed out :rolleyes

Here's another

Freakin' sweet armor. I get inspired just looking at some of those shots. I really feel lucky that, those of us who are lucky to own some, have any set of trooper armor, let alone one that looks that good. Kudos on your incredible work.

By the way, what did you use to make the black scuff marks? I think that the soles of my Caboots might work on my TK armor.

Splendid and I love B/W pics, straight off the set :thumbsup .

The only armor on the RPF which doesn't have all the tell signs of a ROTJ suit IMHO (mine included)

Since you don't seem to be needing your ESB version anymore..... ;)

Ha,nice try Anthony ;)

It's the same suit just with an ANH helmet and hand plates,as well as the holster riveted on the opposite side of the ESB.

Your right too about the armour. There is nothing ROTJ about this suit.Find an ROTJ part or feature and it's all yours. (starts looking for a big box just in case :p )

The scuff marks were made with pastels. They are residue from when I taped the suit up when test fitting, and the pastel dust has stuck to it.I'm going to do some more work on it,I want it to look rough.

Thats just too cool for words. The first thing that jumped out at me was the bottom angle of the shoulder bells. The underlip of the chest plate and the crispness of many of the parts just sets it into a class of its own. Did I mention I want one?

Wait, I think I said that on the RPB like a year ago. Haha.

Two thumbs up Paul. Very nice.

Josh

Those pics are incredible :thumbsup I wish I looked that good when I put on my Stormtrooper armor :unsure

Looks fantastic. I'll be refering to these pics when i put together my ANH trooper set. Great that you want the scuffs. Inspiring work.
