They're talking possibly december now, so that'd be 28 months

I didn't see that anywhere. I hope they don't do that, all 6 of the others have come out in mid May. Don't break the tradition, Disney!

It was a rumor that has been pretty well debunked at this point. It will be summer of 2015, whether or not it's May remains to be seen.

It's May 25, ok? MAY 25, 1977. Not "May the crappy pun." And that's coming from a guy who LOVES crappy puns, by the way.

I'm not saying i want it released on the 5th for the sake of the pun, but movies generally come out either Wednesday or Friday. May 25th is on a Monday. Stranger stuff has happened, but i doubt it.

I know, I know. I just find the whole "May the 4th" thing to be really stupid as the "official" Star Wars Day. I observe on the 25th (or thereabouts), myself. To me, it just kinda cheapens the whole thing. If you love Star Wars, then you should be living the day that started it all, which was May 25, not "May the 4th," and certainly not "Revenge of the 5th." Sorry, I just think a pun like that is a real 3rd.

Flat out won't happen as Avengers is slated for the first friday in May. Disney owns that as well, so they'll want the releases spaced out so as not to step on one another.

If anything, May 22 to capitalize on Memorial day weekend could happen. I'd imagine that'd be the earliest.
