Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release) (Spoilers)

What I'm noticing more and more is the new blaster designs for resistance fighters are horrendous.

This has been kinda niggling at me. While the Resistance pilots' sidearms are kinda so-so, and I don't like the F-11D blaster rifle, I still think they're a damn sight better than these the Rebel troops had on Hoth/Endor:

And I like the pilots' sidearm a lot better than General Lando's:

Isn't the light source wrong for them to be the same scene though?

I don't think so...seems to me that the sun is behind Rey so her face isn't as lit as Leia, who is facing it.

I'm sorry, but Poe's blaster, which I am assuming is standard issue based on no facts whatsoever, looks like a rejected nerf gun design

And Rey's is...I don't even know how to describe it, but it looks like it was designed by a 7-year-old

Unless it was cut from two different parts - which is entirely possible - it can't be denied that Rey is Leia's daughter, based on their exchange of looks in this clip.

Still TBD! I do believe the editing of visuals and dialogue in the trailers has been intentionally manipulated to imply a lot of things that aren't part of the film, Rey's lineage included.

I thought that as well... but it might be a scene near the end when the news of Han reaches Leia

From own what we think we know, this would be the scene where Rey leaves with Chewie and the Falcon to go see Luke. Leia becomes aware of Han's death as it happens through the Force and we see her reaction then.

All of the blasters I've seen so far aside from Han and Chewie's look like water pistols. Even the stormtroopers blasters look bad with all the white on it.

Oh please. If every blaster isn't from the OT, it's wrong. But if they use only blasters from the OT they are called pandering or fan service. They can't win, I am telling you! A lot of the newer blasters look like they were cobbled together as well. It's 30 years later. Some things are gonna change.

It *might* still be Snoke. Maybe Snoke's the same race as Plagueis (or even the same character?) and the artist responsible for the illustrations in that book used said picture as an "inspiration" .
We'll see in about a week. (8 days and 2 and a half hours exactly, for me, as of right now)

Indie Revolver shared an image of Snoke concept art and it looks nothing like a Muun. Andy Serkis cinfirned they had no idea what he would look like as they started filming. If the plan was to have Snoke be Plagieus, why all the concept art and confusion? Draw a Muun and your done.
