I still can't figure out if Starkiller base is going to be able to move around like the Death Star in order to blow up planets. How can a planet have a propulsion system and what happens to it's gravitational pull when it leaves a system?
I don't think it does move.
But unlike the Death Star that can.........I mean USED TO move was able to destroy planets. Now Starkiller Base is a "weapon capable of destroying entire solar systems" but what good is it if it can't get to the solar system????

So they basically took one of the dumbest super weapon gimmicks from the old EU and put it in a movie. Yawn. Can we just do a movie with a good story that doesn't involve a super weapon?!
Lets just hope they don't have leap years in the SW universe... Starkiller base approaching 365 days or is it 366?!?We don't know how it works or what it's range is. Planets rotate, planet rotate around a star, so there is variability to where it can aim assuming it can only aim line of sight. But maybe it doesn't, maybe it can utilize hyperspace. we don't know yet.

I think that's no Maz's castle we see being destroyed. To me it looks like it's the Yavin rebel base from EpIV.
If you look closely, the two highest tower's tops look like this

And also look at the base of the right tower (in the TV spot), it has pillars that look like the ones from Throne room....
That's sooo Miltos Yerolemou.
