They are probably frozen until the next trailer and product line release. They confirmed that functionality was dictated by LucasFilm and they were limited in what they were allowed to initially due. JJ's mystery box again.

I've got my fingers crossed. If they fly like that it doesn't make much sense. They're of no use in space and positioned vertically, not much use in atmosphere.

the only thing we really found out anout bb8 since celebration 7 is, the BB8 we see roll out on stage is not used in the movie and built only for the stage presentation. i was alittle disappointed hearing that, but you cant have everything. we have heard there are allot of different BB8s made for ep7. one made for dropping/ being thrown and sitting straight up after its thrown, and multiple puppet versions, theres a good picture of rey untangling him from a net from some alien riding a dinosaur, you can see the controls all wrapped in green screen along with the puppeteer
im so excited to learn more about him, over on astromech we have a picture of oliver working on R2 and in the background you can see the spheres, theres also a great back stage photo of cel7 where they are reaching inside his body doing things
thats all we have really found out so far

B Wings possibly in TFA?

The figures look like Leia, Akbar,and resistance troops and pilot. So I'd say yeah some sort of follow up to the B-wing.

The B-Wing is the coolest. I hope it gets some screen time. The proportions on that Lego ship aren't grabbing me though.
B-Wings are in Rebels Season 2, I think that's what this is.

Na, this isn't a B-Wing as we know it,...its evolved, like the new X-wings,....also as the link says & as gizmo pointed out, the characters are Leia, Akbar, & Resistance troops,...all in TFA costumes

I already love that design! Looks like a B-wing transport, seeing as it has a sort of ramp in the middle. No matter what it is, it looks 100% Star Wars!

Yea, I never understood why they called it a b-wing...the a-wings, y-wings and x-wings are all aptly named but the b-wings look nothing like a "b".
I think "B" stands for Blade because look like a bladed dagger!
