Like DINVADER said actually, looks very episode 1-3.
Ren seems to have weight to his saber which never really occurred in the prequels, its a 1 sec clip but looks more like a sword fight is brewing rather than acrobatics and fluff and spin..
If that looks like fluff and spin then I need an eye transplant or some rose tinted glasses, its more a sentiment of hope based on 1 sec of footage !!!
I think the fact its lightsabers being used in the dark could mean it looks like 1-3 or the fact its sword fighting could mean it looks 1-4 or the fact its a star wars movie could mean it looks like 1-3 agreed agreed agreed
But from the 1 sec clip that you have an opinion of I also am of the opinion that it look like Driver seems to have a feeling of weight like what I just said

What? They really did the fight scenes in the Prequels so I don't know why you wouldn't think there's no weight to the lightsabers.
I want to see faster, and better dueling in these movies, but without the useless flashy moves and flourishes of the Prequels. To me that was part of the whole arrogant Jedi thing. It would be dumb if Luke shows up and his skill hasn't improved past the beginner moves everyone used in the OT. And yes I'm aware the Luke doesn't fight in this movie.

It looks to me like Kylo has very hard and forceful blows. Very hard downward strikes for sure. There is that clip of him coming down really hard with the saber in the village scene that they show in almost every trailer. You can really see it in these slow mo clips. He rears up and comes down very hard on Fin to where it almost looks like Fin will get hit with his own saber.
