I didn't feel the kids were annoying in this episode, but I also felt sad for Jod at the end and sympathized with him. Jude Law and the writers did an amazing job with this character. He always came off as conflicted. I like that they kept him in that gray area.
Not to bring Marvel into this too much, but I hope he shows up elsewhere as he reminded me a bit of Loki. Extremely interesting to watch on screen with wonderful charisma, and that back and forth between good and bad that feels authentic. I mean, if Jod had turned at the end and helped the kids, that would have felt appropriate in a weird way. At the same time, if he can killed one of the parents, that would have also felt appropriate. He just rode that edge and I really enjoyed it.
