AYE! :)

Sorry to piss on the parade....I know it's a kids show, but I watched the first 2 episodes, Its probably the best produced thing thats been made by LFL for a while & if it was a sci-fi series it would be great, but it isn't Star Wars, it's way too Earthlike,....not just what everyone has been talking about, the suburban set up, on the kids home world,....its everything that Disney does with Star Wars now. They break Georges rules at every chance. The spectacles that people wear, (in Clone Wars cartoon, in Mando etc),...never in G Canon.

It's far more common & lazy now to show things in our world, & too on the nose, as seen in Mando, pirates talk like pirates, have peg legs, use telescopes, pirate hats,....keys,.....compass

George would have filtered or worked out alternatives

In 'real' Star Wars we had a Pirate Ship & it's captain

Disney (Dave Filoni included) just doesn't get it

& Neil reminds me of a Womble

Wasnt Caravan of Courage a George Lucas made show..where Wilford Brimley wears glasses?

Actually, Wilford Brimley was in Battle for Endor, the sequel to Caravan of Courage. :p ;)

Yes, he wore glasses. And yes, his character was designed by George Lucas personally.

(I wore out several videotapes as a kid.)

I knew it! There was something and I just couldn't put my finger on it. You had a broken childhood and watched too much ewok adventures. But, somehow, you still have great taste in props. Maybe schizophrenia, that would be the only real answer. If I hadn't taken my pills this morning, I would have Sherlock look into this a bit deeper.
