The on screen helmet has very similar arc cut on the view soace but I have yet to see or percieve an edge lip on sides or back. It could be poor lighting in the shot but very much straight down like its longer samurai counterpart on the gent to the right whereas the bike helmet has a definite lip edge line.

Any one have more visual references for the "pirate" blasters? I would love to put one together with lights and sound!

I see Big Fred's Customs has just released some files of Jod's pirate blaster, not sure how accurate they are I've not researched them
I have been looking at reference photos A LOT was I was trying to see if I can create a 3D model of the blaster as well. Managed to get the approximate shape done, but details were tough (and I didn't have enough time to continue). I would say that currently there are no perfect references for his pirate blaster, as we have only seen it briefly in a few episodes, mostly being out of focus or too small to make out much detail. I'd say that this version here is looking great overall, but some of the details may not be entirely correct as we haven't seen it clearly enough. Until we get better reference pictures ("The Art of Skeleton Crew" book? actual photos of the real thing from BTS?) this is what I will think is accurate enough to be used

Oh, nice, this looks very similar to Brutus’ left hip blaster. Maybe not 100% identical, but a lot of DNA in common and a big step up from what I’ve got.

Uploaded files for the Jod buckle are available in the buckle thread:

Post in thread 'Skeleton Crew Jod Buckle' Skeleton Crew Jod Buckle

Two versions depending on your print capacity, one completely flat backed. Here are the screen caps (print files on other thread):

We are awaiting some commercially available 1.75 inch belts to test fit for any up or down scaling needed but you can do that yourself if you trust your onscreen measurements. When completed the remaining test fits will be showing up in the full Jod cosplay thread:

That looks like the most accurate model to date I have seen. Too bad its not out yet, at least that I could find.

I wish I could get an accurate length, then I could start my own.
It's on bigfredscustoms' patreon as part of the February releases.
Printed it already (note: the left side here was a bit modified by me, as his files are symmetrical here, I felt that the left side looks a bit different; though we don't have a very clear view, so mine is also just a personal interpretation), need to finish it still:

As for the length, I also couldn't figure out how long the actual one actually is. Very few shots where you could estimate it, and not enough references there to make a good estimate

It's not just good, it's good enough! (y)

Rumors are Jod’s lightsaber is on display at Lucasfilm

I’m trying to get some photos for us today, anyone else got photos they are willing to share ?
IG user phil_szostak posted these on Instagram in the past few days.
