Thanks Guys for all the likes and comments, Okay I went to the shop this morning, I started to study these other pipes. So after a moment in the shop I decided to come in and watch the episode again and I got the pic of the phantom coming in for a landing. Here is where I am on my thinking, wow I have come a long way and after getting better screen grabs I have noticed the whole cabin is wrong. As I stand there looking at all the wrong I noticed something about the cartoon and the length of the walker compared to the model or to say the toy. I have noticed the cartoon walker is longer in the back a bit, man how I stood there and was about to do a major HACK. I then decided I have come to far and with the size comparison it would be hard to fit it all on. Also I noticed how the back cranes wasn't right well wasn't to much to hack and this will help how the deck looks. So this Hack is still in progress, cause right after the hack grand son watching happened so this is how the biggest part of my day has been but I love it, I will slip out to the shop here in a bit after they leave. Wow I almost took the whole cabin off and I study hard on doing it but we will stay where we are other than the cranes. Be back after while after I get done taring stuff off Thanks again Guys

Okay RPF Friends, it was a bit late after grandson time, but, I did slip out to the shop for a bit. I am now happy with the crane parts, and it does make the deck look a bit longer. All of this hack is still in progress but its going to look better once done. Here is the hack Thanks and Enjoy

Okay Guys, looks like I have a bunch to do to finish this, also I noticed the pipes I already have on they are not tall enough so a bit of redo on that. I also noticed in the animation the cannon is a bit more to the front I looked at this and it just wont happen with this. Back to the shop and finish up the hack, and onwards. Thanks

And onwards I went, Okay RPF Friends, I have had my fingers super glued to a part so many times today its not funny. I almost have the hack complete there is some small detail on this as well. I also totally redid the one pipe this is where the super glue gave me the fight. so in the pics you will see the pipe done but propped up to dry, I also got everything reattached for now. I think its looking cool, Here you go what do you guys think I know this is only a rendition of the animation. Thanks and Enjoy

Well I have noticed one more hack I will have to do, this hack will be where the small ladder comes down from the back. Shouldn't be to bad. I have been studying this other pipe it seems to change each screen grab I look at so I will just have to pick one and make it, then later tare it off and make another. Not. I am where I am in this build I will try and match up things as close as I can its been a trick. Well I did really look the cabin over and the missing doors caused the cabin to turn out the way it did. But as I have really looked at the animation it is a bit long in the grabs, Well I didn't get the one pipe made but I did get the other one, so now to make the other. Back to the shop in the morning and get busy making. Thanks

Okay RPF Friends, I did a bunch of wheel spinning with this crazy pipe I made a couple and they was tossed, after I striped away useable parts. I as well took the one small pipe off and gave it a bit of lean. So I do have a bit of a pipe going now, but I am still not sure about it. Also I noticed as said about the length of this is not comparable to the toy, and saying this the pipe I'm working on now is right by the seat instead of kind of behind it a bit. I also had to give my eyes some rest a bit today, here are some of the efforts. Thanks and Enjoy

Okay RPF Friends, here is where it ended up and it looks cool. I had a good day and this pipe turned out as well as fighting me a bit, the super glue thing again. I would as a maker like to say Kudos to the guy making the 1/8th scale full metal x-wing WOW drop the mike. I for sure need to go comment. Metal and BIG. Okay Friends back to business, I still have a bunch of detail parts to make lanterns ect all the hanging things on the bottom. Thanks RPF Friends for the likes, well as for today I have been studying colors. I have set up then bam I was watching a 3 year old grand boy fully charged and ready. After that 11 year old grand boy had to be ran someplace. Time is of the essence and I love me grand boys. So I thought I would show off the set up as well as me spray gun collection tell me I can paint something LOL Iwata all the way look like with so many paint mixes I will start this paint in the morning. Okay Guys of RPF, I was doing my lay out for the paint, so I was looking at a grab and I made it bigger so I could see the area and then turned off me phone. I then went back to the grab and seen something that looked like the inside of me pocket, what happened is my finger slide the grab over and I deleted what I thought was pocket which was the grab. So with all that said I havest the grab in me bloody head, after looking at it a thousand or more times. Now I have paint going and this is a process in its self so here you go as efforts happened. You know I thought of a statement you made about the natural wood, when painting some of this, the wood in some areas could have worked. Oh well I just went with a all out paint. I really take comments to heart good and bad because it all learns you in many ways, another reason I love RPF. I always say if only if only supply's and other things a couple more needed tools. Man the stuff I could make.. You was spot on about the wood my friend.

Well Thanks RPF Friends for the likes and comments, as said to Analyzer all taken to heart. So I was doing a bit of other study today which I will get into later in this post. Today I was going to do some airbrush work after some detail work, or detail painting with the micron CP this is a good airbrush for detail work and pencil like lines. after the micron I went with just some brush work. So I guess I did do some airbrushing. Wow today has been a blur and after some detail painting this is how me eye type balls was doing so I called it. I did get a bit done all the edges on all the decks all the rail up front, a bit of detail here and there oh also got the pipes all done up. The main airbrushing was to be the back cabin which I will start in the morning. Here is todays fun in the shop, Thanks and Enjoy

Okay Guys, I noticed another hack which I am going to pass on you know when I was talking about the animation being a bit stretched well it is so but when I made the cock pit canopy it has a lean back to it it should be up and down straight this is where the cannon could have been pushed forward and made look a bit more screen but man its close. No hack happening the other hack is on the back walkway where the ladder goes down I am not sure about doing this hack as well. Now the thing I said I would get back to is this, but before there is still a bunch of detail work to do and more painting. Now after I get the back all painted up and some bit of detail work done which will be more I think I will shift gears once again. I am going to start working up the armature for the WORM, I can work on the sculpt in me office as well in the shop too. I will be making the worm to where it sits along side the walker it will be posted up with clear rods on a base. I will fix the cables from the cranes to where they will attach to the worm. So I will also sculpt up one busting up from the ground on a base to sit in front of the walker. This worm will have Zeb's arm sticking out a bit now thinking on the plasma bolt. Still so much more to do on this project I will show more process of the worms being made I just been getting ahead of meself. Back at it in the morning go have me some fun. Thanks

There are lots of differences between the cartoon versions and the movie versions. I ran into the same problems with the LAAT. They look close, but almost everything is just a bit different when you try to start reconciling things

Okay RPF Friends, so much painting this thing is crazy with color. Today I stepped up all the yellow with a touch of chrome yellow tone down that bright yellow a bit, also painted the cabin, along with a bunch of detail painting and still more to paint. Analyzer you are rite on about how so many pics of a item can change with lighting shadows all that thanks for the comment. Here is all the fun I had today Thanks and Enjoy

Okay Guys, I still got to do some washes on this part back sides grime dirt rust gray light gray so many colors. Getting close to making a worm or two. still a ways to go but getting there I guess. Back to the shop in the morning have me some more fun. Thanks

Okay RPF Friends, Thanks very much for the likes as well as the comments, brett m, you said you love Rebels then I commented that I like them as well, I have to say I was wrong I do love me some Rebels all the episodes was breath taking, I can't tell you how many times I have watched season 2 The Lost Commanders. Building this thing has made me have to go and watch it a bunch and I still love watching it. With all that said Thanks for the comment brett m. as I have said I do really take it all to heart and I do not forget. Thanks all Well here I go again. Okay Guys, as said Thanks for the comments and the Likes keeps pushing me onwards, those windows on the back keep changing I can't seem to be able to reach any of the back for airbrush work so I have been doing washes the windows I am still not to sure about so they might change once again. lots of washes bumping some colors up as well as some rust running. Okay on the lanterns I did a test today and was good, I think I will use bread tie wire for the cable this way the lanterns can me moved to give the walker a motion effect like the lanterns will look like they are swinging. as the canopy on the cannon looks like the wind is blowing it. So Guys back to the shop in the morning do a bit more painting hope not the windows. Thanks

I can't help myself OCD I got the windows as close as I could if I could only have been able to reach with the airbrush just to tight. I shifted gears a bit and we now have a Joopa in the making this is in raw form and a few pics of the armature being made still a bunch to do on this thing as well. here is some efforts happening. Okay Guys, I still got a bunch of sculpting on this but before I can start the sculpt I need to pick me up some thinner makes the clay stick better just a small trick I learned.
