So... One of the joys in working in the industry, is the various locations/environments that you'll find yourself in.
I was at a shooting location going through a small warehouse type space and I see an old school payphone that had been dropped on the ground. Old school to me as I'm a youngin.
I take a look and discover this gem inside the cast iron body.
But... Wait a second:
Now, I don't think this is the exact circuit that was used on screen used. But that won't stop me from doing this:
Again, not completely screen accurate in itself, but it being a genuine part of older electronics does something for me. Also I do really like the worn copper look after I scoured it with a little scotch-bright and polish. I did find another one of these, so I might have another go at it someday.
