Thanks RPF Friends love the likes and comments, This is why I Love RPF, I love sharing the modeling talent, this is what keeps me going. Eye surgery Monday afternoon. Bout 2. So with all said I got busy today, and this thing is really crazy looking in person seeing it off screen and sitting there on the bench in real time, so as said a bunch to share so see for your selves still a bunch more to do but here is a bunch of todays efforts, Thanks and Enjoy the CRAFTING
WOW what a bunch sorry guys didn't know I had this much to share man I got busy, I guess we will tell how Monday goes but you know me I will be in the shop doing something. Oh I put a dab of epoxy on those cranes just to make them stronger for movement yep all cranes work. I did want to go on and get the other 2 on but time was done, and these cranes are attached with screws, well I will let you guys know about this appointment but I will be Back in the shop when me get home. Yes I plan on sculpting one up for the side and one for the front coming up from the ground with the energy bolt I still thinkest about this part Thanks

Well good news no eye surgery today this will happen on 1/13/21 two surgery's on one eye then go back get the other. So as I said you can't keep me out of the shop I did do a little then a little more but I have a grandson saying come on 3 years old and a mess I will be back in just a bit Thanks for all the comments and likes when I get back I will get into what's coming up on the project and a bit to share. Okay RPF Friend seems as if I made it back, Well as for the paint yep I like the wood look, this thing has so many colors on it tans, dark browns blacks, purplish, grays, dark grays, light grays, rust, red, yellow, blue kind a green many colors. with many washes some air brushing along with some brush work. once all this is accomplished I however did a over all primer just to seal the wood and its a epoxy primer strong stuff made the wood like plastic, so as for today not much but a bit, the lantern post up front was to fat I noticed this looking at grabs while I waitest at the Docs. yes Sabine's leg makes it look bigger so I made these rite, also in the grabs I noticed the post should attach to the edge of the decks and not on them but I have come to far to tare off any more rails. and got all the cranes attached and they are attached with small screws. Well guys the smaller lantern post look better with surgery off for a bit with giving me eyes a rest here and there I'm going to keep pushing on so with that said Back to the shop in the morning and make up some time Thanks.

So I sittest in me shop wheels spinning, Thinking about this cannon and then start gathering did some cutting . After all was done i am not happy so I will revisit this once again so now I know which why I am going on this part now to make it, but here is my failed part and this will become a part on some other creation down the road Thanks and Enjoy
Well a bit of eye resting time today as well they are quite sore, yep this was going to be a cannon part well some of it still will be but I will remake the other part everything on this is crazy looking and now this cannon wow. I can do it I know how it looks now I got to make it so Back to the shop in the morning see if I can get this going. Thanks

Yep I do have to stop here and there so I just sit and meditate good for the soul. So Thanks guys for the nice comments I TAKE IT TO HEART. I said that load because I mean it. Well on to the project, I made like 3 cannons and broke them apart and try again and again then the 4th try bingo. and you can kind of see the 4th try taking shape each time I sit it on deck it changes a bit. Here are my efforts from today and just finishing up a bit ago. But I still have a bunch more to do to get this part complete but here is the process. Thanks and Enjoy
Okay Friends I still got lots to do to get this made complete but I think its getting there. So I'm going to have to get me some screen grabs of when the phantom is coming in for the landing you can see all the deck and I need a grab of the seat area cap Rex is sitting in operating the cannon, it also looks like some kind of torn tarp for a canopy cover over the seat and how the seat attaches to the cannon all of this is one part all hooked together. I have to get these grabs for paint and to see how the top looks as well. Blue and Yellow for sure but there is more just not seeing it in the grabs I have, going to have to do some Rebels watching love that episode anyway.
