Well Okay Guys, that's rite on George slinging for Joopa. Well I took the morning off had some grand boy watching to do, after grand boy time I ran got me some thinner and got busy at the kitchen table got a bit of clay on, I want to get this clay right because I done had one fail with this on a alien so I have learned the trick but I had to take all this to the shop cause the fumes started getting strong sitting there rubbing clay seemed like the worm was moving. Yep everything to the shop quick. fresh air out side took the ring sound away Wow no more of that in the old house. after that I shut it down but man I did rub some clay on just one pic cause everything was moving around. Thanks and Enjoy

Okay RPF Friends, I got all the clay on. in the shop. then safe inside at the table I started working on the head of this thing. So where I am is more work on this head then the mouth. I then will slither down its back with scales, also those fins down along its belly sides hope I can stretch the clay out. I think I might have enough for this worm, well sad thing is I want to make 2 worms only enough of this clay for this one but I might try another trick that is the next chapter of the worm making after this worm still a bunch to do on worm 1 here is a few shots of todays fun with out the buzz Thanks and Enjoy

Yep some wise men and camels Christmas happening, well still a bunch more sculpting getting close to a Joopa now TK this is going to look cool all painted up along side the walker with cables on. On the cables they kind of just hang there when nothing is attached with the extra cable it can wrap around the worm and hook at the top as it should be. I am still thinking this one up a magnet might be the trick, something to think on cause I can sculpt the magnet in and you wont be able to tell, Hum. Thanks

"Here's a worm happening" - genius! I will never forget reading that line here.
Thanks for sharing this adventure with us, Kermet, and yes: the worm looks vicious and cool (I don't recall ever describing a worm that way before, but I guess there's a first for everything)

I have started the fin down the back, not to sure about this, well have to check the grab on this as well. So I have this worm happening still more happening has to happen. real close. Then we can go back to the shop which I do go out there early in the morning and think and meditate. Then the kitchen table sculpting up a worm happening. There are still a bunch that's not right on screen but so very close. Well Okay RPF Friends, here we go spent a bunch of time rubbing clay. I tell you time slips by quick whilest rubbing. Also spent some time looking at what's next out in the shop, its going to be a bunch. if its not Also its Bunch. I still have a bit more sculpting a lot of refining, worm happening Thanks and Enjoy

Okay Guys, I might if I press hard enough and rub away I might have a worm done ready for some paint might. So there really is a lot of sculpt to do so close though. As I was in the shop there is a lot of stuff to do on the walker. Okay in my study on this thing I notice some cable that runs the lanterns on the back. I wonder if there is cable on the front lanterns I will have to study some grabs to see how all this stuff looks. No more hacks at this point. I will do it rite as I go. worm is rite but a small bit skinny I was hoping the detail would help, nope just a skinny worm. I am hoping this other trick is going to work, just a roll of the old dice, to know this. we shall see what's next. Thanks

This is amazing. In case I missed it, did you reinforce the walkers legs?
Yes I sure did legs are nice and strong. They have been epoxy glued in place along with a bit of super glue. I hated doing that but its going to be a display piece for sure Thanks

Well RPF Friends, been busy at it, I had a bunch of pics but Wifey deleted them clearing my phone. Also dealing with no internet because of the Nashville thing got it back this afternoon. So I got the worm all done and cooked him today, This pic you will see here is of my crazy heater this heats my shop up nice and toasty and it was a good way to cook the old worm, and Joopa worm turned out very cool. Now what is next still more painting also have to paint this worm. I am still not sure about a worm 2. I will see how this other clay mix is going to work on something simple before I go and make another armature. Here is all the fun happening. Thanks and Enjoy

Okay Guys, the worm is really to high once I cut the sticks and do up a clear rod the worm will sit much lower and he wont be a worm on a stick. Oh almost forgot I did manage to do a test on the other clay trick, and I think it will work. I will be able to tell more in the morning after it cures a bit more, from what I see is a passed test, there will be a attempt at worm chapter 2. We shall see what is next. Thanks
