Star Wars quick family portrait

Great looking displays....I am looking forward to seeing them as they are more and more complete! :thumbsup

I would like to know more about what you did to bulk or modify your mannequin ! Looks great man !

I love the pic of the Yoda turning his head to look up at his comrades......LOL. Yep, the upcoming Yoda tunic/robes project is actually Hermes project. I'm simply giving him my input and showing off his finished works. I'm just his second pair of eyes. :)

He wishes. :lol

I have him on a wooden stand that's about as tall as he is. Even with the stand, he's still on shrimp status.

Wow, that is a really great shot...very impressive.

funny thing, as soon as I got past the awe of the shot...the first phrase to cross my mind was, "Whattchu talkin' bout Willis?" hahaha

Thanks again guys for all the praise! Here's another shot of him with hair:

I might do a slight haircut on the sides and add a tad bit more hair in the center. Otherwise, it looks pretty good to me.

Also, need to do his nails and toenails too (sounds like I work in beauty salon for Jedi Masters:lol) I was going to use the resin nails I got but I guess the screen ones used a transparent style material like real creature nails? Anyone have any tips?

Noted. :)

Can't wait til you guys work on his wardrobe. After seeing what you two did with the Obi Wan suit, I just know it'll look bad a$$.

That has to be one of the nicest YODAS I have ever seen.

Thanks! :love

Well, my mom really helped me on making a test shirt with some extra fabric for Yoda (replacing the crappy one I had). Here's what we got so far:

Obviously, the collar is a bit too high and the vertical seam near the collar is too long, but hey, our first crack at this. Second time around should be easy.

After showing her the robe, she immediately found similiarities to a kimono (my mom's Japanese) so she said sewing something like that should be easy. But we'll practice that later.

May start a run on the robe and tunic if anyone's interested.
