This is awesome! I found a vintage venus razor handle the other day and was going to cast it, I need to get some casting stuff together first, and then do this. Thank-you for sharing!

I just found one as well, at my parents house in the guest shower. It’s been there since the movie came out, is my guess. I also would like to cast it before trying my hand at making the prop.

And I know there is often a desire to be as accurate as possible with these props, so if anyone needs it, there is also a period appropriate bottle of shave gel to go with it Copyright 2002.

I recently did a quick print and build of Buissonland’s communicator model. The files are great and it was a fun build! I turned some brass pins and an aluminum cap for the larger antenna stud since that part looked like metal in the reference photos.

So, I've learned that the model you, and I, have is the wrong Sensor. We want the Sensor Excel, which has different fins in it.
There is a newly made razor, the Domon Dolly, that is "close enough" and mostly plastic, though.

The difference is the wavy fins

The "speaker" area is different. Fewer and much shallower wavy ridges.

look at the clear green area on the one you have and then at the same area on the comm link, you will notice that they are shaped very different.
