Finished it. Last half was good. First half was not so great for us and I was almost fast forwarding through some stuff. I had no interest or saw the value in most of the content of the first half. This should have been six episodes. I'm not that interested in seeing weddings, dancing, Senators whispering with double meanings too much, space fascists couples and their potential psycho mother in laws, bickering space morons doing rock paper scissors, etc. Did any of those space morons come back later for something? Were they establishing something I missed because I am the moron? All of that could have been compressed way down and accomplished the same thing without being such a slog or write some better spyfare content. Some really strange choices. I don't speak French, but I thought they were, I guess googling it just now they were not. But it was so close it ripped me out of the moment. Fine, they wanted to do some kind of callback to French resistance or what have you, but why use a sledge hammer method like that to force it through? Yeah ok, I get it. I could have figured it out myself without that. Just like I know the Empire is basically space NAZIs. Stole the fancy Tie Fighter. And never heard about it again. I thought maybe it's big secret was being indestructible as Cassian clearly proved it was over and over. LOL And I thought maybe that is why they wanted that mineral so bad it makes spacecraft industructable. But it was never gone into again. Got annoyed at use of our earthly terms... "p***** off", "spin doctor", "visa", "radio", etc. What happened to commlink? Did they ever say "radio" in the OT? Come up with some Star Warsey words. Saw Gerrera didn't have much to do. Disappointing, I was hoping to see some serious guerilla warfare. They were fueling that weapon right? We never saw them use it. Bummer. I guess I liked the first season better.
