Ironheart Disney+ MCU Series

It's annoying that Marvel stopped doing same day worldwide release for their TV shows. USA gets the episodes on Tuesday but the rest of us, including the UK have to wait until Wednesday. I woke up this morning to a spoiler that I really didn't want to see.
On the plus side we will get Fantastic Four First Steps a day before the USA, so I suppose it balances out.

I watched episode 4 earlier, I'm going to watch the final 2 episodes later. I wanted to spread them across the next 3 days but if I wait any longer there will be more spoilers that will ruin my enjoyment of the show.
Really enjoying the series.

I just finished the series....Wow! What an absolute one, two punch those last two episodes were. No spoilers from me, but I really enjoyed the series, they really gave Riri an arc and a journey for her character after her introduction in Wakanda Forever.

There's a mid credits scene.

Maybe I'm getting old, but for me the cultural and woke shtick is laid on so thick, I could barely fight my way through it.
I will give ep 3 a chance, we'll see.

Just like with Blue Beetle, after 10 mins, I was hoping for the whole family to be killed off.
I couldn’t agree more. I don’t want to speculate for fear of coming off as very political, let’s just say getting past the first episode was…painful.

I finally watched the 1st episode, not sure about it. I thought it was rather slow paced, obviously trying to establish her character, motivations and supporting characters rather than have a lot of action, but it could've used some more tension at least.

I think it's kind of ridiculous that she's trying to prove she's an original, unique thinker by creating "stronger armor" with "better AI." That's not originality, it's simply iterating on someone else's ideas. I'd rather they had her move away from Tony Stark and Iron Man rather than have her just be a "better" version of Stark. That's always the problem with these type of characters - they try to cash I'm on the recognition of the original character by making a copy, but it's impossible for a copy to be unique.

That said, I think the writing and the acting are generally well done, though the I find the whole "cyber gang" uninteresting and annoying. I realize we're not supposed to like them, but they're kinda cringy.

I don't mean to make this a racial thing, but I hate when shows or movies seem to have only one white character, who they make into a boob (Jim Rash as the professor(?) at MIT). I realize there are also tons of examples of Black people as token stereotypes, and I hate those as well. I have no problem with how they cast this series otherwise, and I'm fine if they have no prominent white characters at all. I just dislike stereotypes and tropes. Rash's character seemed out of place with the tone of the rest of the episode and (as much as I like the actor) could've been left out.

So, you can build an Ironman suit out of an old muscle car? What is this, the WB? They already did that in Stargirl. It was dumb then and it is dumb now. Seems you would at least need a new car that has a computer in it.

Other than that, I did enjoy the show.

They only used the body of the car obviously, the rest would have come from other sources and we know the AI computer module was salvaged from Riri's suit from earlier in the series as that is where N.A.T.A.L.I.E was being stored and projected from.

Jim Rash was already established as MIT staff way back in Captain America: Civil War. He shows up at the beginning after Tony's speech to the students.
