Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

An alien language in another galaxy wouldn't correspond with English letter-for-letter anyway. I kinda wish they DIDN'T portray it that way. It's only been done since the Prequels, and because someone made a font out of it in the 90s. It was never intended to be that way in the OT. Let it be gibberish.

Another strong episode in my mind - beginning to see the tensions between different groups thinking that they're fighting for the same cause.

It's also nice to see the back story of minor characters in Rogue One being fleshed out in an organic and believable way (Melshi, Saw and his guerillas etc.)

I'm also interested to see more of Deedra's personality - how much cruelty is she going to display in ensuring 'security'. I'm expecting the people of Ferrix will start to feel even more Imperial oppression - after all, as the prison guards showed, the Empire does seem to attract people who are immune to others' pain, or even find it amusing.

Serkis, lotsa naked men, suicide, lesbians, slavery etc and still no space wizards and pewpew. What a great thing to see in the SW universe

This is not only good SW, it's simply good televisionn. I will watch this again and again like my other favourite shows

Edit : But only if I can get it on DVD/BR. But that's probably not very likely

The last arc (ep 9-12) is going to be very interesting!

Disney would be fools not to put a massive ad campaign on for season 2

But they are so they wont

Those prison guards and such, totally LA County Men's Central Jail Sheriffs of the 1980's into the 90's. A self righteous above all with no recourse attitude.

Two things, Andors little red Droid and/or Luthens ship AI could be the brain transfered into the reprogrammed K2 imperial Droid.

As for escape from the prison, Andor takes the place of Serkis and walks out.

I am really enjoying Mon Mothma and her progressive story, something I didn't think I would.
I was thinking about how the Empire are getting their info on Cassian and unless I've missed it already think its his Mum.

Never trust a Dursley..
The info they got on Cassian came from Bix's idiot boyfriend, Tim, and possibly the poor guy they tortured to get Bix this episode.

I knew that guy looked familiar, but I couldn't remember who it was!

I also just told my nephew that my guess is that Andor's mom's droid will be K-2SO.

Did anyone know what the two Rebel chicks from the heist mission (sorry forgot their names) meant when they said the two of them renting an apt. would be suspicious? I don't know if she meant the number of people or just new people renting.

I'm going to guess that Andor will be busted out by the Rebels to prevent the Empire from figuring out who he is and to protect the Rebels from him spilling info. I'm betting on a fake prisoner transfer. Place your bets.

Great episode. Loved Andy Serkis in this. Awesome use of the prison floor, very original.

I found it strange that the prison only had humans in it initially however after thinking about it for a second perhaps the Empire has the jail sectioned off by species or has different types of prison/labor camps for different species? We know that Wookies were used as hard laborers on Kessel.
