Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

For the life of me I can’t understand why SO MANY seem to believe that Ezra is now a bad guy.

Based on what?

This is just as irritating as the whole 10th Doctor speculations.

Donna is really the Rani

Riversong is really Rose

Martha is really Mickey from an alternate universe

The Prime Minister is now the head of the Daleksbe

Etc., et all…

Seriously! Why do so many need to insist that the good guys are now the bad guys with absolutely NO REASON OR PROOF to believe that they are?

Ok, old guy rant over.

But I’m not wrong!
Yeah, this is a problem these days with modern audiences that obsess over any media, not just Star Wars fans. We create literally every theory for every detail of a show or movie. I think if the OT came out today, we‘d have the inevitable “Is Boba Fett really Uncle Owen?” theories because “We don’t know for sure that it was Uncle Owens skeleton, and Boba Fett never shows his face yet they keep focusing on him, its clearly someone we know.“

Creating theories is fine as part of the fun and something I enjoy, so I’m not against it, but lately fans are disappointed when it doesn’t happen and blame the show/movie, even if it doesn’t completely work within the story. We can no longer just go along for the ride. If marrok turns out to just be a regular Inquisitor that survived, Ill be completely fine with that. If he turns out to be something else, Ill be happy to be surprised.

Almost, not as much.

I really love how she is leaning in turns. Like when your sister jumps and moves with the controller in her hands together with Mario on the screen. But while the sister acting like that can be cute, this one is just bad acting with zero idea how to make it look like she is actually controlling a spaceship in space.

The person missed from the video when they were floating in space with their dead ship with no shields and no power and these little ships kept firing and hitting them with very close to zero damage. That T-6 is one hell of a tough beast :D

EP3 was a bit lame, kinda boring filler episode, with an unnecessarily bull**** scanning of cloooosssseeer and CLLOOOOOSSSSEEEER, weak and stupid looking ships, bad acting and wrong placement of old designs. After this episode I am close to absolutely lose my fate in Dave Filoni as well as Star Wars. I am watching it sure, because I still love Star Wars, but I am watching it with zero interest and excitement about what is going to happen. I don't care anymore.
I‘m somewhat neutral on the show, but I’m warming up, as I have enjoyed each episode more than the last. I dont see how this was a “filler” episode. It was short, but it still focused on the main storylines and progressed them. I enjoyed the action in this episode and felt like it was the first time I was having genuine fun watching it. My criticism of Ahsoka so far is that its felt stiff and a bit too serious. Id like it to be looser and more fun, which this episode started to do.

Saw this on Facebook and kind of buying it

“IN ARTURIC MYTHOLOGY MARROK WAS THE NAME OF A KNIGHT TRANSFORMED INTO WOLF BY A WITCH CALLED.. MORGAN
Kanan was a Jedi knight who turned into a wolf. Morgan ( is a sister of the night. The sisters of the night are known to use nigromance. Marrok's silhouette is very similar to Kanan's when he wears his eye mask. I think Filoni wants a Rebels reunion in the Ahsoka series and the only way to do it altogether is to somehow resurrect Kanan. I think this is the main reason we suddenly found out Morgan Elsbeth is a nocturnal sister. Dave just needed a way to bring Kanan back.”

Agreed, my complaint on this episode was regarding how short it was and felt. This is not a "filler" episode because we are not deviating form the main story and have advanced in 3 areas, Sabine's training and bonding with Ahsoka, Republic awareness bout thrawn and their dismissal of such, and and the setup for Baylan and Ahsokas confrontation.

What I am most excited about is the new Galaxy, I really do hope this can be explored a lot more in future movies or shows. This expands the Star Wars sandbox a lot more and they might even brging back some EU. Could the Skeleton crew be from this other Galaxy?

Was this scene as dumb as it looks?
In certain ways yes.

The casual viewer is likely not aware that the ship has shields and no one seemed to address it (at least to my knowledge). And man are those some strong shields or incredibly weak blasters to get hit that many times. But then again we've seen ships/vehicles get pummeled in other battles. "That armor is too strong for blasters" in ESB for example.

I'm not quite sure why Ahsoka went outside of the ship to "distract" the enemy as it seems like a dumb idea. She's was still on the hull as if the enemy would be able to fire at her and not the ship or they would chose to as blowing up the ship would likely kill her as well. But it seemed to work which was also a bit much. It is star wars and battles have been very theatrical from the beginning even in the context of the make believe universe. You either suspend disbelief or you don't.

My biggest problem is Ahsoka and her lack of interest or emotion in anything she says. Its like she's sedated. There were moments of improvement in that area this latest episode. Also now she's a Jedi again. Ok. Part of me wants to say pick a lane, the other understands that life is a journey and this is her struggle.

They really want to make this actress “happen”…

If not Ezra, my money is on this being “Marrock Unmasked”:

Isn't it obvious that Marrok is Snoke?

Kind of looks like Al Pachino

Looks like Roman Moronie gone horribly wrong.

You fargin not quite Jedis. You sons of a bastages. You fargin iceholes have no respect for the Dark Side.

Another Blah episode for me. I hope this gets better. Its kinda boring so far. Not Andor boring, but slow start boring.
Seems like the moment the episode started, it was over. Really short.

Whats even worse about it being short is that whats next is super obvious, its all shown in the trailer. Hati and Sabine fight in the forest, Ahsoka and Baylan fight at the ruins.

It’s a bit slower than expected but it feels like the pace has been picking up since the first episode. At the same time, there has been a decent mix of action these last two episodes. If these end up being the slower episodes that would be nice. If these are the “action” episodes, then that would be bad.

Ahsoka has always been a Jedi. maybe not a Jedi with a capital J but definitely jedi with a lower case J. Basically, she's a Jedi in everything but name, sort of like Kana from Rebels who was only a Padawan at the time that Ep. III took place.

A short episode and a predictable episode one after another doesnt feel great.

I want to know when the Empire developed proximity fuses for turbo lasers that show a visible explosion in space.:lol:

I‘m okay with predicable if its entertaining. I’m also okay with short if it’s entertaining. I enjoyed episode 3 the most despite it being the shortest and episode 1 the least despite it being the longest.

The good news is we will be close to exhausting all trailer footage after next episode, meaning the back half of episodes should feel fresh. Ive heard episode 5 is the best one, so we also have that to look forward to.

Episode 5 is also the only other one directed by Filoni.

In the helmet flashes at the beginning of each episode, Marrok’s helmet shows his eyes, and they are pretty creepy looking. I’ve seen two YouTubers talk about how his helmet flashes blue (like a good guy), but no mention of his visible evil eyes…

I saw this posted for modern gaming reviews but this immediately made me think about how people review Star Wars shows and episodes these days. Lol.
