Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

Guys.. can you clear something up for me… palpatine’s sith temple in ep9, on exegol, is that in the same galaxy thrawn is in? Or is that part of the unknown regions in the Skywalker galaxy?
I wasn’t actually paying attention when watching it. So, can’t help…

For the life of me I can’t understand why SO MANY seem to believe that Ezra is now a bad guy.

Based on what?

This is just as irritating as the whole 10th Doctor speculations.

Donna is really the Rani

Riversong is really Rose

Martha is really Mickey from an alternate universe

The Prime Minister is now the head of the Daleks

Etc., et all…

Seriously! Why do so many need to insist that the good guys are now the bad guys with absolutely NO REASON OR PROOF to believe that they are?

Ok, old guy rant over.

But I’m not wrong!

I don't remember if you said you'd watched REBELS or not, but in the show, there were SEVERAL times that Ezra flirted with the Dark Side. He was able to open a Sith holocron, he tapped into the Dark Side to get creatures to attack their enemies, he went with Maul as he flirted with the idea of being his apprentice, all of which gave Kanan some extremely worrying vibes over the course of the show.

He basically had a 'how bad can it be' attitude from time to time, if he thought the Dark Side could help his friends.

Oh,… well that explains it.

Thanks.

And in the last episode of Rebels, Ezra ultimately turned down the Emperor, and thus the Dark Side.

That Ezra would be Marrok does not make sense. Because that would mean that Ezra/Marrok would have travelled back from the distant galaxy to the GFFA. And if there was already a way to travel back from it then Elsbeth wouldn't have needed to spend so much effort in building a hyperspace ring / Ori jump gate / Expanse thing / whatever-it-is.

Sort of a yawn episode for me. A tad short too. I kept waiting for a reveal when Huyang continued to allude to something he could not identify, then it was the hyperspace ring we had already seen.

I am not sold on Ezra being Marrock just yet, it feels like “the armoror is a traitor” hype all over again. However when they passed the purrgils, Marrock did have a knowing maybe even surprised/curious look back over his shoulder at them. Shin Hati didn’t even bat an eye and pressed on.

I THINK I would be OK if Marrock turned out to be Mara Jade; this way, she still could be "the Emperor's Hand" as in the Timothy Zahn triology books. Where she was a Force sensitive being that was NOT Jedi, and not a fully trained Sith, either.

It would make more sense than Ezra.

So, some of the basis for the Ezra/Marrok theory is based on French literature & the Arthurian legend.

In it, Marrok was a Knight who served Arthur & his father before him. He was honorable & good, but he trusted the wrong woman & was turned into a werewolf by Morgan le Fey. Even though he was cursed, he still did his best to serve righteousness & eventually destroyed the talisman that kept him bonded to his wolf form.

Now with Ezra, he was shown to have an extremely strong bond with the wolves on Lothal, wolves that were able to open Force portals & take the Ghost crew to the other side of the planet to a hidden Jedi Temple. When Ezra entered the World Between Worlds it was through a portal surrounded by wolves. Now you have this former Inquisitor named Marrok who's serving a Nightsister/witch named Morgan Elsbeth. Nightsisters in the past have been shown to be able to enchant people to act in ways contrary to their own wills, so this things are where some of these ideas are gaining traction.

Combine this with some of the Arthurian imagery in the show, from Ahsoka's ship having the round table, to Baylan resembling a Knight, to the importance placed on the lightsabers & who they belong to, & it may be a loose theory, but one that some can see value in.

I really don't have a concrete theory in my own mind.

And man, what a tragedy to have lost Ray Stevenson so early. That man has such a magnetic presence on screen. He just stands there looking cool and doesn't say anything, and I'm locked in. Baylan is such a rad character, I'm itching to learn more about him.
I agree.
I wonder if there is talk of recasting him so the character's original story ark won't need to be changed?

I ask myself…”what would I do if I was a bad writer?” and from there I conclude that Ezra most likely be a cliched “good guy turned bad guy”.

I think Mara Jade would be... better than Ezra

Sorry.

Was this scene as dumb as it looks?
Almost, not as much.

I really love how she is leaning in turns. Like when your sister jumps and moves with the controller in her hands together with Mario on the screen. But while the sister acting like that can be cute, this one is just bad acting with zero idea how to make it look like she is actually controlling a spaceship in space.

The person missed from the video when they were floating in space with their dead ship with no shields and no power and these little ships kept firing and hitting them with very close to zero damage. That T-6 is one hell of a tough beast :D

EP3 was a bit lame, kinda boring filler episode, with an unnecessarily bull**** scanning of cloooosssseeer and CLLOOOOOSSSSEEEER, weak and stupid looking ships, bad acting and wrong placement of old designs. After this episode I am close to absolutely lose my fate in Dave Filoni as well as Star Wars. I am watching it sure, because I still love Star Wars, but I am watching it with zero interest and excitement about what is going to happen. I don't care anymore.
