Okay.
Bad:
Rosario Dawson sucks. They should have had the same person who played her in the animated shows.
I'll say it. Ashley Eckstein is a merely adequate actress. Her line readings are very sing-song. Not a natural performance.

Ashley is also only 5'2"...You can only wear lifts so high before you're walking funny.I'll say it. Ashley Eckstein is a merely adequate actress. Her line readings are very sing-song. Not a natural performance.
So, we’re to believe that Luke is currently building his Jedi academy and has zero interest in finding Thrawn?
He may not be needed to investigate the potential threat, Ahsoka is pretty capable, but he may still be included once Thrawn is a clear and present danger. We know Ahsoka meets Luke at some point and we aren’t sure where that stands in the current timeline of Ahsoka. So, we’re to believe that Luke is currently building his Jedi academy and has zero interest in finding Thrawn?

I'm more interested in will Ray Stevenson character die in this season or if they had plans for him in other seasons/shows.
She is short here. Lifts, Apple boxes, it could work. I just feel like Rosario Dawson is playing a different member of her species. She seems nothing like the animated version in character, mannerisms, etc.
Plus Ashley is so cute both in real life and both shows you just want to put her in your pocket and take her home. In a sweet way you pervs, not a bad way.
Fair points. As for Ahsoka seeming so different in the new show, we have to remember that she is much older now. I believe she was about 21 when the Clone Wars ended, and in the Mandoverse it's somewhere around 27 years later. So, with her youth behind her and approaching fifty, I totally buy that she's very different now. I'm the same age, and I am nothing like I was when I was 21.
The lightsaber to the gut thing does seem to be turning into a trope, but in this case it doesn’t really bother me. Sabines wound was clearly more to her side, probably spearing her liver but missing more vital organs. She also got immediate medical attention. Qui-Gon was impaled pretty much dead center of the torso. At the very least his spinal cord was severed, never mind any other vital organs that got in the way. Not to mention how long he had to wait, injured, while Obi-Wan continued the fight with Maul.
I got no explanation for the human pincushion Reva though. But most of Kenobi was a mess anyways.
Yeah, I hate they are using it so much. Its silly. The lightsaber to the gut thing does seem to be turning into a trope, but in this case it doesn’t really bother me. Not defending this poor plot hole, but I know at this time he’s busy running around the galaxy hunting Jedi and sith artifactsSo, we’re to believe that Luke is currently building his Jedi academy and has zero interest in finding Thrawn?
Very well said, also thrawns been missing for how long? Possibly 15 years? I would assume he’s dead tooFirst of all, it seems like only a few people even SUSPECT that Thrawn is still alive, & pretty much EVERYTHING that's been written or said about the New Republic era has shown that Luke's one & only priority was his school.
Leia was the only one that still had a military focus in her leadership, & she was fought at every turn by the new leadership, even Mon Mothma at some point. In the time that Mando & Ahsoka are taking place, the New Republic are well on their way to reducing their military by 90%. All those factors would say to me that if anyone were to even SUGGEST a long thought dead threat could return would be considered warmongering. I even think we have a scene from the trailer with Hera trying to convince leadership of the coming threat.
Just my thoughts.
