Thanks, I shot an email to him. Any trick to becoming a member at TPZ? Seems like a pretty walled-in community. Nothing wrong with that of course, I would just love to be able to read and contribute.

If you looks at the dates, neither the first warning or the incident causing the banning had anything to with the jlong offerings. Waiting until RPF members obtain a license, produce product, and then releasing a cheap copy to undercut the license holder the same day is his business model. Like I said above acceptable behavior in some circles, but apparently not this one :rolleyes
There is a lot of TOS kits floating around the RPF, can you point to any examples of anyone who has been banned or even requested to remove anything (a link?)? This seems a bit like a witch hunt no?

I've been on several prop boards and trouble always seems to follow JLong. There seem to be a lot of disgruntled people from a lot of different places after him. Witch hunt? Perhaps, but maybe there is a good reason for such a hunt. Within what has surely become overblown and exaggerated over time, most likely has a kernel of truth in there as a lot of the information I've heard come from people that I would trust far more and even from some that have no dog in the race.
What happened to him over at TPZ? I remember everyone was told to back off of him and give him a fair shake. If it was other people harassing him, why weren't they banned? Why did he not stay? Why is he the one that is gone? If he was the one being hunted and not the one doing the hunting, I would expect it to be the other way around.

I am not sure I understand what your point is?
Is there evidence of "fat bottomed" communicators?? If so, I've never seen any. Not that I don't like my MR, mind you.

Ok, I have more then 20 posts and have been on the boards for years.
Now I have no dogs in your guys fight, but i have bought items from
Dstines on several occasions and have always been very happy with his
offerings.
In my book anyone offering good quality props, and prop upgrade parts
are golden. Either Dstines, JLong, or others.
