Solo’s Blaster/Carbine

I really just have general threads for prop categories.
I've got a lightsaber thread, a blaster thread and an "other" thread.
Just search "Dann's (insert lightsaber, blaster or other here) thread", and you should be able to find them relatively easily.
I model and print a LOT of my own parts. After I discovered the scope used on the SE-14R, I modeled it, and it's gone through lots of iterations. I've sold a couple replicas, but haven't done a proper sale thread for it.
I've also got a bunch of scopes for Fett, Evazan/Chewie and Ponda Baba blasters, many of which are Frankenscopes. I've modeled different objective bells, and used the lathe to modify vintage 4x15 scopes so that they can accept either real or printed 4x20 objectives, etc.
I'm planning to open an Etsy store to list them for sale (as well as some other parts I've modeled), but I may put a few in the JY first.
I'm just slow-going with it, so it's taking longer than I wanted!

Found it! Gotta run but I’m going to deep dive into it soon enough. That one blaster (I think it’s a custom) u built looks outstanding

The SE-16? I cannot take full credit for that, that's a classic custom blaster design that's been around for years, in one form or another.
I know Superjedi did one years back, and at least one other person, and then more recently myself and Anubisguard finished ours. He modeled the heat sink/grille and the receiver adaptor for his, and I modified them for mine. It was a really cool collaboration, and we both ended up with great looking custom blasters that look totally different!

first I use a matte black as a base then add the gloss. Once dried, start weathering..

for the flash hinder I wanted to add some details to get it more inline to how a real one works and looks..

added the JB Weld to the flash hider here around the base. Sand it smooth, add some primer..

lightly sand down, then add silver, weather with some black paint & finish with some graphite powder..
