Done / Completed Solid aluminum Beskar Steel («COVID BRICKS») - SOLD OUT

Was waiting for a paypal option to pay for my 1...but if theyre all gone i guess too late?
 
I am going to dilute the alum. Black pretty well. I’ve used it before and results are usually immediate and dark. I figure I can re apply 2-3 times and get a good result rather than trying to lighten the color using an aggressive 0000 steel wool.
 
I was just going to give it a blackwash but this Alumablack seems like a better idea. Also I might actually need that for a couple of guns so thanks for the tip.
 
This is the reference pic I’m using for weathering and finishing. If there are better references please post.

Got my tracking number yesterday. I know it could be while before the beskar arrives due to distance and current world matters, so I didn't do anything with it. I had some time this morning and pulled up the linked tracking sites in the email and they were in Russian.

My first instinct was to post (in my best Justin Hammer Ironman 2 voice) "I don't know if you know this, but- I don't speak Russian!"

But then I pasted the actual number into one of the sites and it gave me very good tracking in English. And the other site
had an English option. I had to sit back and chuckle at myself for being kinda stupid....
Anyway I am excited and really appreciate Denis doing this run and communicating so well !

There are a lot of people who did not pay the bills and did not contact me about the payments.
So I think if you want 1-2, I can sell it now.
