US customer here.

Mine has been in the Russian mail system since April 21.

April 27, the Russian system said it was “cleared by customs.”

May 27th, USPS.com notified me “We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.”

no further movement seen after May 27th. I’m of the mind I just have to expect it to arrive in September, and if it’s before that—bonus. I just hope they arrive undamaged. I saw the corner was bent on that other users bars from poor handling.
 
My tracking shows my order was released from Russia on May 21st. It’s simply a shipping delay. Every country has pretty much changed how they process shipped items. I know it will eventually show up. Thanks for the heads up.
 
It's kinda fascinating to watch...as I said in an earlier post, I have a package from China that's been in 'Pre-Shipment' for almost a month (shipped 5/11) and one from Lithuania which was shipped on 5/6 but tracking still says "Origin Post Preparing Shipment". My John Wick stuff from Singpaore took a few weeks but got here, and a band t-shirt got totally lost between California and NJ. I also watched a package from NY...one state over...get re-routed to Colorado and back. :rolleyes::lol:

What’s strange to me, is that a 3D printer I ordered was shipped from China on June 2nd, and arrived today on the west coast of the US. 6 days. I guess China gives zero f%!#s about the epidemic.

Most of the people in US have moved past the pandemic now (not all business though) including parts of the EU. Fact is that shipping worldwide is moving as you’ve noted. I’ve had over 25 packages delivered over the past 2 months including 4-5 from oversees (EU/Asia) all within 2 weeks of ordering and in some cases shipping but for some reason these bricks are stuck...not sure if the pandemic is a good enough reason anymore??? IDK
 
I've got another package from Russia that hasn't had any update since May 20th, so it's not just these ingots.

Same for me. I got excited when i saw it had been released then nothing! Guess it's just a waiting game now...

I disagree that “most people in the US have moved past it.” In my area people are still sheltering in place, and wearing masks, social distancing.

As was stated recently, US is 4% of the global population, but we’re 25% of the (reported) deaths. We need to do better, not “move past it.”

Amen. I only lost one person to the virus; my sister was vented and sedated for 26 days. She's alive but has permanent kidney and neuro damage. Neither was out of their 40's.

Living at the Jersey Shore...in one of the most populated states...I see people returning to business as usual at the beaches and boardwalks etc. and I just shake my head.

It's always dangerous when the politicans make the decisions and not the sceintists...

Mine is also stuck in Russia. The us is starting to accept shipments from certain locations overseas. I had a shipment stuck in Singapore since the end of April. Singapore had their entire facility shutdown due to a vivid outbreak. I received it yesterday. If Singapore is shipping and being accepted in the US them I imagine Russia will be doing the same very soon.

This is Shipping Situation Update!

First of all - shipping by EMS is the only reliable option for us now((
Due to Pandemic, all other carriers either drastically increased shipping rates (FEDEX asks $350 for helmet shipping to USA) or suspended shippings at all (UPS / DHL).
We have more than 30 boxes now "in transit" with different statuses but with delays. Some boxes are having "Exported From Russia" status since beginning of April! Awful, I know.
All these delays have one reason - Pandemic of COVID_19 virus.
Currently verified causes of delays:
1) 1-3 weeks of quarantine prior export from Russia
2) 1-4 weeks of quarantine at the destination country
3) transit to Europe by Cargo Trucks (soooooo long!!!)
4) transit to USA/Japan/Australia by SEA only! ((
We have boxes, which were sent same day, but delivered in 3 weeks or in 8 weeks!
Unfortunately we can't affect this anyhow, this is not even EMS's problem. That's the common pandemic effect((
We are continiously monitoring all our boxes and for each box with delay we have filed a claim in EMS. Our EMS manager doing his best to find out where each box is now. Once he find exact location - he contacts foreign Post service and personally requesting to proceed exact box. Sometimes this helps really good.
We kindly ask you not to panic and accept this situation as temporarily inconvenience. This Pandemic ruined many logistics paths, so we shall give post service more time to find new and safe paths to deliver our stuff!
