I can confirm that no one from USA didn't received it yetAnybody in the “states” get theirs yet? Mine are apparently still sitting in russia as of 5/12/20 ☹
What’s strange to me, is that a 3D printer I ordered was shipped from China on June 2nd, and arrived today on the west coast of the US. 6 days. I guess China gives zero f%!#s about the epidemic.
I just, on a whim threw the tracking into the USPS site and it shows up. Mine was released from Russian customs on the 21st. I imagine I’ll see them some time toward the end of June.
Most of the people in US have moved past the pandemic now (not all business though) including parts of the EU. Fact is that shipping worldwide is moving as you’ve noted. I’ve had over 25 packages delivered over the past 2 months including 4-5 from oversees (EU/Asia) all within 2 weeks of ordering and in some cases shipping but for some reason these bricks are stuck...not sure if the pandemic is a good enough reason anymore??? IDK
I disagree that “most people in the US have moved past it.” In my area people are still sheltering in place, and wearing masks, social distancing.
As was stated recently, US is 4% of the global population, but we’re 25% of the (reported) deaths. We need to do better, not “move past it.”
This is Shipping Situation Update!
First of all - shipping by EMS is the only reliable option for us now((
Due to Pandemic, all other carriers either drastically increased shipping rates (FEDEX asks $350 for helmet shipping to USA) or suspended shippings at all (UPS / DHL).
We have more than 30 boxes now "in transit" with different statuses but with delays. Some boxes are having "Exported From Russia" status since beginning of April! Awful, I know.
All these delays have one reason - Pandemic of COVID_19 virus.
Currently verified causes of delays:
1) 1-3 weeks of quarantine prior export from Russia
2) 1-4 weeks of quarantine at the destination country
3) transit to Europe by Cargo Trucks (soooooo long!!!)
4) transit to USA/Japan/Australia by SEA only! ((
We have boxes, which were sent same day, but delivered in 3 weeks or in 8 weeks!
Unfortunately we can't affect this anyhow, this is not even EMS's problem. That's the common pandemic effect((
We are continiously monitoring all our boxes and for each box with delay we have filed a claim in EMS. Our EMS manager doing his best to find out where each box is now. Once he find exact location - he contacts foreign Post service and personally requesting to proceed exact box. Sometimes this helps really good.
We kindly ask you not to panic and accept this situation as temporarily inconvenience. This Pandemic ruined many logistics paths, so we shall give post service more time to find new and safe paths to deliver our stuff!
