So what current cartoons do you watch?

Always watching DC comics from the animated series (Batman, Superman, Justice league) and the animated movies.

Tron: Uprising, Motorcity, Gravity Falls, Phineas & Ferb. I also watch old school stuff like season 1-3 Spongebob, Freakazoid! and Rocko's Modern Life

South Park is the only one that ever caught me. Funnier than Family Guy and better written than the Simpsons (which peaked about 15 years ago).

Hey man, like what you like. :thumbsup

Just don't let me ever see you posting in one of those "why can't I find a woman" threads. :lol

Young justice... If they would ever show more than three episodes... I hate their constant use of the (insert foul language) hiatus!!! :darnkids

Whenever I can, I always watch one of the Bruce Timm Batman/Superman/Justice League related episodes when I come across it. :thumbsup

Animaniacs, Pinky & The Brain, and Freakazoid are still hilarious.:lol

Gundam Wing will also, and forever be my favorite anime series of all time. :)

Not much cartoon watching. I find most cartoons of today tasteless, mindless and or just plain bad. What they lack in substance they make up with bad animation and lots of noise. That said I will watch Family Guy because I can't deny it makes me laugh. I also used to watch The Wild Thornberries (excellent animation), The Rugrats and Spongebob with my daughter when she was little. I like both of those, as well as The Simpsons in small doses.

One of my fave cartoons of all time is Jonny Quest from the 60s.

Don't watch any toons in English. Subbed anime all the way.

Sadly the only way to find good non mainstream anime is cons or if you're lucky and FYE, i went to the one in Monroeville and was amazed at all the really good looking anime I never heard of. Sadly even the stations owned by the anime companies only show the flavor of the month like Adult swim does. Mind you I love Ghost in the shell. I hope now that Thundercats is on adult swim we'll see a 2nd season since Cartoon network doomed the show by poor advertising and scheduling.

I know these have all been mentioned but I really like:
- Bob's Burgers. If nothing else for the titles to see what store is next to them and the name of the exterminator, and later on to see the burger of the day.
- Archer. Do I have to explain how awesome this is? Also, less than two weeks to new episodes.
- Venture Brothers. Thank you for molesting my childhood memories. Supposedly some new episodes are in the works.

Look up fansubs you'll find all kinds of sites that list currently running and brand new anime not airing in the US yet. I was watching Naruto and Bleach long before Cartoon Network picked them up. Also if your a Bleach fan the series ended at the end of March 2012. Its still got about 100 more episodes to air in English.

Some good ones you may not know of.

The Venture Bros is my favorite cartoon currently on TV. I would recommend it to anyone, but especially people who are familiar older cartoons like Johnny Quest and pop culture from the last 3 or 4 decades.

Here is my favorite clip of all time (no spoilers).

+1

Thought it looked positively poo-brained when I flipped by it one night in a hotel room a few years ago. For want of anything better to do I tried it again a few months ago, was for some reason hooked this time, and have plowed through the whole run since. Can't WAIT for season 5 later this month!

Other than that...? Despite a strong start, Adventure Time got tedious fast in season 2 and 3. Clone Wars continues to be fun, and occassionally thoughtful. There doesn't seem to be that much out there right now. I'm working through Fairly Oddparents, Billy and Mandy, and Fosters Home (McCraken is the MAN) with the kids now, and while not current, all are awesome.

I watch the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Young Justice, and Naruto Shippuden.
I really wish that they would bring back Megas XLR

I wish Adventure Time would go into more detail about the "Mushroom War" that we always see the ruins off. I mean you make it an interesting post apocalyptic world but don't go into much detail about it.

They did go deep into Ice King's story. I thought it was pretty good, he's my favorite character.
