Skyrim Costume - Iron Helmet, Steel Sword, and Mehrunes Razor... what else?

Hey all!
This is my third thread now here on therpf and it's somewhat of a shift in gears from most of my sci-fi/comic book work. I've started some Skyrim prop builds which have slowly begun to bleed together into a potential costume.

I began with this:

Some homemade templates for an iron helmet...

Which led to this:

From there I got a bit ambitious and decided to make both the steel sword and Mehrunes' Razor. I'm basing the sword of insulation foam:


And Mehrunes' Razor on eva foam:


Then I decided it might be a worth just going the distance and starting a full costume build. I'm trying to decide what armor to go with these pieces. So far I've considered iron, steel, and studded. Any thoughts from the community?

How did you get the center of the dome so flat? Mine wants to make a bullet shape.

i'd say go with iron armor since the iconic main character of skyrim is wearing full iron, but it'd be interesting to see a mix and match gear set, like you jumped right out of the game! looks good so far, looking forward to seeing more!

Sorry for the wait. This update is long overdue.
Since we last left our hero, he had just begun to work out what he wanted to add to his Skyrim build. Since then he has come to somewhat of a decision. Behold!



Alright, so the basic idea is that I shall be building the steel armor, iron boots, iron gauntlets, iron helmet, amulet of talos, namira's ring, and a few masks as a sort of trophy kills. They are Nahkriin...



and Miraak...



Here are some pictures of progress on the boots, gauntlets, and armor.



And here are a few of my the new horns for the helm. The plan is to cover them in layered craft foam



That is all I have accomplished to date. However, after much talk between my girlfriend and I, this endeavor has turned into a couple's costume! Should will be wearing the glass boots, gauntlets, and armor as well as a mage hood. She'll also wield a conjuration staff and some sort of spell-in-hand practical effect that I'll be developing in the future, so stay tuned!!
