Earlier this year I participated in a Superhero themed "Fun Run", and decided to go with a classic, Mr. Jay Garrick, for my outfit.
Here's the helmet I put together for it! I ordered a cheap army costume helmet off of amazon, sanded it a bit, and gave it a paint job. I made the wings by tracing out an image from the CW show, sized it up, cut out the layers from EVA foam, and used a dremel to shape the indentations.
