hey Lee, you have to use the spray foam in layers or it will take forever to dry/cure. it will eventually cure though.

half way on filling the dummy up

i found a stupid amount of popcorn packing which i stuffed inside, then used the foam, the popcorn packing seemed to help it kick and expand better.
just wait for it to set then do another layer.

i think i should have him ready for fibreglassing next week woooohoooo.

Well , that took alot longer than anticipated hehe.

not much of a update, but the DTD is now full and finally cured.

Hopefully ill have some spare cash to order the fibreglass the end of next week. then once that is done , its onto the good bit of sculpting

hey Lee, since you are using Carls armour, are you going to sculpt the skins- armour free? that would be awesome. hint hint.....

Yes the skins will be armour free.


BUT i am 1st attempting a silicone suit, so the mould will be RESIN, ( NO latex pulls ) and i am again like my P1 head, i am NOT making this to sell, it will be a one off for me.

I MAY remould the sculpt in plaster AFTERWARDS, so i can make a suit for my son.
