Limited Run SIGN UP Doctor Who War Doctor Sonic Screwdriver ALL METAL SPRING LOADED

I would like to get a War Doctors Sonic or a 4th Doctor Sonic, finally have some extra cash after holiday drains, so add me to the interested list as well please!

And just in case this may help depending on what you have, Im really interested in trying to make a Classic or War Doctor's Sonic work with the internals of a 10th Doctor Wand Company Sonic Universal Remote. So the more hollow the better! :)

thanks for any any info on what you have left, pricing, shipping, etc! (And if you are out please keep me on a list for any future runs!),

It's been over 3 months, still no reply.

Well, forget about me. I got one off eBay and it is a sight to behold.

I've been trying to unscrew the bulb at the end of the black rod (as per the pic) but it's just not shifting. Anyone else tried and had the same problem?

I'm pretty sure its an LED that's just been pushed in. Play it safe and pull as you twist and it should work free. But please note I've not removed it myself so feel free to wait for confirmation from someone else.

Hi,
Am I too late to sign up for one of these ?

Haven't been on therpf for a while, so this may have already been discussed...

Will the aluminium one be exactly the same as the plastic sonic or like the one John Hurt used ?
i.e. the 'official' plastic one has a silver pip on top whereas the actual prop appears not.
Compare the pic of my bandolier with sonic

Hi TonyWilk,

I know my reply is very late so you may have already gotten the answer to both your questions but I figured I'd reply anyway.

I don't know if it is too late to get one from Russ unfortunately but I can tell you his are not lighted although they can be with a bit of work. They do have a working red LED but no electronics.

As for the second part the real prop did have the little silver pip on the end piece like the toy, however I personally think the piece was a floater - meaning it would be out when held upright and inside when held upside down. Now I don't know if this was intentional or if the prop was dropped and the piece cam loose. Either way Russ's are like the toy with the pip permanently out.

The aluminum replica has the same dimensions as the toy so it really is quite a nice piece. it gives more weight and a realistic feel to the prop. Every detail, aside from the battery chamber, is replicated. Here is a picture of mine to show how nice it looks on display.

Thanks Terrasolo... this reply is even later!
Very shortly after my last post we found my missus had cancer so, as you can imagine, I had other things to worry about.
Good news is the missus is now fine and I'm back doing frivolous stuff :)

In the mean time I've ended up with a lathe and milling machine (due to a factory closing) so, eventually, I'll try to turn up one of these myself.
Your sonic in the picture looks gorgeous... all shiny and aluminiumy :)

All the best,
TonyWilk

Thanks Russ,
With some slight mods to the original design will you be able to add sound to it this time round?
